Trump and Netanyahu: What The Hell is Going On?. Content Warning.
Benjamin Netanyahu flew into Washington for talks with Trump for the third time this year. At a dinner held for Bibi at the White House, Netanyahu handed Trump a letter. It was a copy of a letter to the Nobel Peace Prize Organisation to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, written by Netanyahu. Trump didn't exactly jump out of his chair with glee. Similar to when Sir Keir Starmer handed him a letter from King Charles to visit the UK. On both occasions, Trump seemed surprised but overly emtional.

Neil Kinnock has been a Labour Peer in the House of Lords since 2005, and was once Leader of the Labour Party. He jousted with Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher at PMQs (Prime Minister's Questions) many a time. He opposed much of what Thatcher did and clashed with her over the closure of mines, particularly in the North and Midlands. He reigned as Labour Leader from 1983 to 1992. Son of a miner, he knew what it was to rise through the ranks. When first elected as Leader of the Labour Party, he had a left-wing agenda. He backed 'Ban the bomb' and 'CND' and the Women of Greenham Common, who camped and demonstrated against nukes being stored by the USAF at an RAF base.

When Mr. Corbyn lost the general election against Bojo and the Tories, many thought Jeremy Corbyn's bid for leadership and power was over. Mr. Corbyn stayed on as the leader of the Labour Party until a new leader was chosen. Sir Keir Starmer, once an ally of Corbyn in his shadow cabinet, booted the veteran left-winger out of the party once he became leader. He sought to eliminate alleged anti-Semites from the party that had allegedly had their moment in the sun under Jeremy Corbyn.

Daniel Craig became the face of James Bond and made the brand Bond his own. Craig's bond was a hybrid. A mixture of the roughty toughty Sean Connery and the gentlemanly Roger Moore. The Bond films showed Craig's Bond evolving as he fought Spectre, even fighting his own MI6, becoming a father and giving his life for the world in the final instalment.

This week's performances at Glastonbury have been for many controversial. And for others, nothing controversial. Bob Vylan got into trouble for saying "Kill the IDF". Kneecap, an Irish rap group, is known for its support for Palestine. Crowds at both performances at Worthy Farm, Glastonbury, carried Palestinian flags. Sir Keir Starmer condemned the artists being allowed to play there. The BBC cut the feed to Bob Vylan, and ironically, the scene flashed to Kneecap.

Johnny Ball on Cancel Culture.. Content Warning.
Johnny Ball was a TV presenter in the UK in the 1970s and 80s. If you are British and grew up in those times, you will remember this beloved national treasure of Britain. I remember Ball presenting a programme as a kid. It was called "Think of a Number" and it was all about how simple maths connected to things you would never think it did. He made maths interesting and fun for kids. As a kid, I hated maths, and I still do. However, Mr. Ball made maths fun and taught it in a way that resonated with me. And no doubt, all kids from that time who hated the thought of maths wished they had a teacher like him. I remember my teacher at school in my later years before leaving school at 16. A horrible man with black hair, a black beard and glasses (maybe that's why I have a phobia of people with beards and glasses today). When I used to nod in reply to him, he said, "You look like one of those blaady toy dogs in the back of a car that nods its head as the car goes along"!

Is Russia Washing Its Hands of Iran?. AI-Generated.
As the Iranian Foreign Minister flies into Moscow, what's going to happen in light of the US's raid on Iranian nuclear facilities? Trump said "Bullseye", meaning the US raid, including B2 bombers dropping bunker buster bombs. Massive damage was done to these places, some buried deep in the mountains, with reinforced concrete. No munition could get to them, only the bunker buster bombs dropped by the USAF.

Well, Trumpy Boy finally carried out what he had threatened Iran with. This morning, US B-2 bombers presumably carrying bunker buster bombs utterly "obliterating" these sites in Trump's words. Trump had threatened Iran time and again that there would be military action if the Iranians did not agree to scrap their nuclear programme. Trump has a reputation for being true to his word, and this morning's strikes prove yet again that he not only walks the walk but talks the talk.

Teaching LGBTQ to Kids?. Content Warning.
I could not believe what I heard when I heard my stepson's wife speaking about teaching the subject of LGBTQ issues to her daughter. A young, impressionable girl under 10, how can that be age-appropriate? From a faith-based point of view, if you follow the Scriptures, this cannot be right. My granddaughter was shown a video of two men kissing like it is as normal as a man and a woman kissing. This is on the education curriculum, and one wonders what other perversions are being taught to kids in the UK.
