A Small Victory
I still wonder how anyone gets through their adolescence. I had heard statistics as a young man about the suicide rate among us, and also knew about all the dangers out there that would eventually claim many in my circle of friendships and family (death, jail, drugs, disappearance, etc.)

Mr. Know-It-All
Who is John Waters? The Prince of Puke? The Sultan of Sleaze? The Pope of Trash? I thought I knew the answer to that first question long before I read anything that he put between the covers of a hardback book. And yet, here I am, looking at a copy of “Mr. Know-It-All: The Tarnished Wisdom of a Filth Elder”, still baffled by the man and his work.

Taste Test
Erin knew that they lived nearby, had the same days off, and had not tried these particular bars, so he was glad to drink with them at Gala Brothers. It was a series of bars in the area near their ESL school that varied from Gala Brothers to Gala Cabin to Gala Set. Erin knew about a Gala Jalibu, but he never found it. This one would be enough.
