Vape Pens and Smoking Pipes – The 2018 Gift Guide
Christmas and the New Year is the time of giving. The one time of the year where buying gifts is as much a tradition as family get-togethers and huge feasts. We often find ourselves scratching our heads as we try to think of the perfect gift for our family and friends.

Bitcoin Can End World Poverty
I bet you're saying to yourself, "What the heck is she talking about?" Allow me to expand your perspective. I am what most people would call an extreme optimist. I choose to view my reality through the filter of absolute magic. I don't spend my time and energy hoping and wishing that something amazing is going to change the world. I KNOW something amazing is changing the world right now. Miracles are happening all around us and you can see them if you turn off the news. The media likes to program your filter with negativity, then you're so busy focusing on all that icky crap that you never wake up to see and enjoy all the beauty and positive things going on in the world. We still love them anyway. :) God love 'em.

Being a Girl in the Music Industry Is Hard
Being a girl in the music industry is hard. Being a girl that has done porn and is now in the music industry? Even harder. The rejection, preconceived opinions and complete and utter dismissal at some points is heartbreaking at best. I’m not going to sit here and pretend I am the greatest songwriter or producer of all time. Or even that I am particularly special, but I do write and produce my own music, sing on the tracks and write the lyrics. However, my work is dismissed purely based on the harsh fact that I’m a moderately attractive girl with a background in adult film, a lot of the time before I have even had the chance to present any music.

How To Not Bury Your Boyfriend Over the Holidays
Leaving your boyfriend's side for the holidays can feel like a sadistic remake of Christopher Nolan's movie, The Prestige. One moment, he's by your side constantly. He's the first person you call when you're losing your mind over an exam, the one you can rely on for a good popcorn fight or a star-watching adventure. He makes you laugh the most, and he knows all of your roommate drama, your pet-peeves, and your cheesy moves. He's your best friend.

Easy Christmas Jar
One of my favourite things about Christmas is doing crafts. I love making my own decorations and gifts, and have been doing so ever since I was a child. Unfortunately, the older I get the less time I seem to have and my Christmas crafts have become less elaborate and more time-savvy.

Jazz & Drinks - 'A Charlie Brown Christmas'
Like perhaps most people, I'm really not a fan of most Christmas music. Traditional classics like "Deck the Halls" and "Jingle Bells" have grown stale to the point where the melodies are simply tiring, even surrounded by a hip new arrangement featuring the likes of Michael Bublé. I applaud attempts at writing new holiday tunes, but they can feel so commercial, you know? And in any case, you can't really write an instrumental Christmas tune. Without lyrics, how can you tell it's about Christmas at all?

Should the Celtics Really Target Anthony Davis?
For years, the Celtics looked like the biggest hoarders in sports as they continued to stockpile pick after pick while waiting to pull the trigger as stars continued to change teams. After Paul George was moved for what seemed like nothing at the time, people expected Danny Ainge’s house to look like one of those homes you see cluttered with garbage he’s held onto over the years, except his wall will be covered with scouting reports on players in every draft from 2014 until 2024. You don’t realize it’s a sickness is until you see that Ainge has had a picture of Luka Doncic hanging on his wall for nearly four years.

3 Basic Photography Settings Every Beginner Photographer Must Know
Every photographer wants to be the best they can be (right?). Holding your precious DSLR camera in your hands for the first time can be an exhilarating and terrifying experience. Think of it like looking at your newborn baby for the first time. I've never had a baby but I imagine it's the equivalent to that feeling. There are so many parts! So many possibilities! Will I break it? Will I embarrass it? Will it starve today? Does it look like me? Will it dis-own me and talk behind my back to their friends? I digress. Just like parenting, getting to know your new baby camera will come slowly but surely. Although, if there's is one quintessential thing that you must know about your camera and how to make it work, it has to be the word E X P O S U R E. (You could also just throw it into automatic mode which is the human equivalent of having it raised by a foreign babysitter but then you will never get to really know your camera baby) so step away from the automatic mode and put it back into manual to have full control over your child.

8 Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Teenagers and Young Adults
Christmas is that time of year where most people stress about what to get their children. Sometimes their child is picky. Sometimes they already have everything that they could want. But when it comes to teenagers and young adults, buying Christmas gifts can seem like an impossible task.

In and Out: My Year in the Asylum
"I would rather die than live here." Those were the words that I spoke to my Dad when my BPD was at its worst, after a long night of arguing and endless fighting, I was tired. Looking back I don't even remember what caused my distress, the only thing I do remember is feeling forsaken by the people that I loved and that my life no longer held any meaning to me, I was alone with a shattered glass heart and I wanted my pain and suffering to end once and for all.

#ThisIsBeauty Is The New Movement With A Surprising Backstory
If there's one community you'd expect to be all about the idea of beauty being a codified, standardized trait, it'd be the beauty pageant community. With so many movies and television shows mocking how allegedly similar all the pageant contestants are, one would expect most pageanteers to really focus on looks.

How to Pack (Fast) for a Holiday when Flying
Christmas is coming, and I am packing. Again! I am Italian, and I live in the UK. I have travelled for over 10 years back and forth from Great Britain to Italy and I have packed an immeasurable number of bags and rucksacks, in one country or another.

How to Begin Your Meditation Practice for the New Year
As the end of the year approaches, many of us are thinking of New Year’s Resolutions or ways in which we can make our next year better. We look at things we want to change and things that we want to make better. We are always looking to the outside, to the world, when we should be looking inward. We should be looking to ourselves. One of the best things to help us find this new path is meditation.

How Your Cat Says 'I Love You'
One of the main arguments that dog owners often have for disliking cats is that they are not affectionate. This misconception comes from the more subtle ways that cats express their love for their humans. While not jumpy and loud with their preferred methods of endearment, cats certainly show their owners plenty of love and trust. Cats may seem distant and cold to outsiders, but all cat owners know the small tokens of appreciation and signs of trust that their cat shows on a daily basis. If you know how to read the signs, you will soon learn to pick up on even the smallest signs that your cat loves you.

Is Rey's Parentage Finally Explained in 'The Last Jedi'?
*Spoilers* The Last Jedi tried to basically solve a lot of things, one way or the other. Some startling truths and some not so gentle breaking away of the standards of the old trilogy. But there was one question that had plagued every fan of the Force Awakens. And that was who is Rey and where does she come from? In The Last Jedi, Kylo Ren tells Rey that she has known all along and they were junk traders that sold her off for some drug money and basically ran off and died and were buried in unmarked graves on Jakku. This would be a great thing because it shows anyone from the galaxy could be a hero, not just of a particular family legacy (read: Skywalker). But were they really? Is Rey's origin story really that much of a non issue in the trilogy? Or is there some darker origin we do not know? Here are five reasons why this was not the case...

How to Deal with Cheating
Having been in multiple relationships, (tqo — it still counts) as per is the norm for a young man, I know both how lovely and stressful relationships can be. Yet the logic is that if the person is worth working for, then you work to make things work, right? Yet, you're not reading this because you're trying to make things work. Odds are you couldn't make things work, or your significant other took a flamethrower to things and burnt up anything that could be salvaged by cheating. My condolences. Now, let's talk about how you can get on the road to feeling better.

How the Fox/Disney $50 Billion Merger Will Impact the Entertainment Industry
Although it has been rumored for some time, the official announcement came in mid December that Disney would acquire a majority of 21st Century Fox for an astounding $52.4 billion. This anticipated merger is the second largest in the entertainment industry at roughly half the cost of the AOL-Time Warner merger in 2001, and could have long-lasting impact on the future of Hollywood.
