Before Us

They drove to the edge of the earth and considered driving off it.

The rocky ledge crumbles under the weight of the carriage carrying the heaviness of what they wish they did not want. Perhaps they will turn around and go back the way they came? They have experienced what is back there and would not have moved on were they so inclined to stay. Going back is not an option. To continue forward is sensible to the seekers of salvation, yet the danger in daring to lose everything over the ledge is a risk no one is willing to take… where to now?

They decide to stand in silence for a moment.

They then walk a while and look around. They walk many miles along the edge of earth and find a narrow path leading down into clouds they assume will finally allow them to see what lies beyond earths surface. The carriage and some of their cargo must be abandoned to walk the steep and unstable grounds to the end of their long and arduous journey together.

Carrying only essentials and leaving the rest, they walk over the red dirt and rocks to see and experience what lies beyond the edge of earth. Discovering the endlessness of their journey, and that there is no definitive edge nor end to earth, they part ways.

Knowing the vast nature of the space they occupy changes their understanding of the lands, the heavens and themselves. They are aware of a world far beyond the restrictive teachings of their many educators and declare themselves free; free from the thoughts that confined them to believe their lives began and ended together. Free from the fear there would never be more to give, more to share and more to love. Knowing they are part of something bigger and more amazing than they could ever have imagined, they venture to discover who they are as individual unique forces within a boundless and beautiful creation.

When seeing the magnificence of where we are and who we are within a boundless and beautiful creation, we become aware of a love that far surpasses that shared between mere mortals. The fabric of what holds life, all life, is woven with fibers of an elemental electricity that has no definitive beginning, nor end; stretching out beyond the imagination of what man can muster, we seek to know why we stand upon the land entrusted to us.

We know we can always move forward, let go of what we thought we knew and release wishes and wants because we recognize that we are never alone. We are part of the same fabric of the universe.

We are children in an endless space that although is in constant motion, requires a still silence to be admired and appreciated for the colossal conductor of creation this world and all that occupies it truly is. The metaphysical materialized from a greatness we may experience as often as we like when willing to accept the galaxy's grandest gifts with gratitude.

We are never alone because we belong here as one race, because we are here and because we are part of the planets purpose to give and receive what we are made of.

We are born of love, granted with the gift of love and guided to love.

We are exquisite original creations of love. Cut from the same cloth as the lands we live on, we seek to be what it is: An endless expanse brimming with life,belonging to one race; the human race.
