Why You Should Watch Squid Game!
If there is one show that the world is talking about right now, it is Squid Game. It‘s currently one of the most watched shows on Netflix and it’s made a huge impact on the internet. As soon as I saw somebody reccomend it on Facebook, I watched the trailer and thought, this is a show that I need to watch. I just knew from the moment I saw the trailer that I would love the show and it’s characters. It seems I am not alone either and that millions are loving this show as well.

Remember When South Park Wrote An Episode About Us?
Yeah, I know it’s based on Yelp and was made before Vocal’s creation, but a lot of it reminds me so much of the culture of influencers today. This is the episode where Eric Cartman considers himself to be a top online critic for the website, Yelp! However, so does the majority of the South Park population. The way they get so absorbed and obsessed with writing their reviews, believing that thousands upon thousands are counting on their content makes me think South Park has slipped out of satire and represented modern life.

McPlant Burger Review
I’ve been vegetarian for three months. I always keep an eye out for stuff that is either vegan or plant-based. That way, if it is suitable for vegans, than it is safe for vegetarians too. I’ve read in the newspaper that meat consumption has declined and major chains are now adding more plant-based foods on their menu. Wagamama currently has a 50% plant-based menu. McDonalds has followed suit with the new McPlant burger.

Beat Pokémon Red & Blue With ANY Pokémon
With Pokémon now being one of the biggest franchises of all time, spanning years of classic games, cards and toys. The franchise has brought joy to millions over the years. Without a doubt, the most famous are the games. With vintage stuff like cassettes and the 90’s being back in fashion again, there’s a lot of interest in the old Pokémon stuff with some it fetching as much as thousands of pounds. In the Pokémon community, Red and Blue are games still talked about a lot. Through exploited glitches, detailed playthroughs and modern-day lore, I feel safe in telling you that you can beat Pokémon Red and Blue with any Pokémon you want. It’s linear storyline means you have lots of choices, even with the first 151 Pokémon.

My Favourite Album From Each Year (1960-1969)
I wrote a series of articles listing my favourite albums from each year. Some years were a ot easier than others because there was some years that had a lot of amazing albums, whilst other years I went blank on. There were also a few albums that I got the release date wrong, and I wouldn’t have known without researching the album. 1960s was a hard decade for me, and one I wouldn’t have done if I hadn’t been asked to do so. The early part of the decade I went blank on, whilst other years I had to pick which album I liked the most which was hard.

Character Profile Template
I’ve been trying to create a character profile template to help make my stories consistent with character facts and to match their personality. I’ve found when working on big stories with lots of characters, sometimes Inget facts mixed up and need to look back at previously written work to sieve through the facts about them. Thankfully, with these new templates I’ve made, I hope they are simple to use, and provide comprehensive information about the characters that are shown both in my books and other misc facts I wasn’t about to show, but can in other stories about the characters if I write about them again. I have a template at the bottom, bit I also have a filled out form below, so you can see what it looks like filled out.

Staying Alive
Curfew began at eight. Police patrolled the streets and had the power to arrest and even shoot anyone they found outside at night. Nowhere was safe. Misty and Ash wanted date on the beach. The date was originally meant to be a picnic by the beach. Ash decided that was boring and they played truth or dare which ended with skinny dipping amongst other things.

We Wish You A Merry Halloween. Top Story - October 2021.
The end of September is nigh. It’s time to wake up Green Day, slurp on Pumkin Spice Lattes and wear your best fangs cause it’s time to celebrate Halloween in full swing. My Halloween playlist includes classic flicks, Tim Curry, Vincent Price, enchanting songs and fun villains. These are songs that I would play if I had a big Halloween party.

Change
I think there’s beautiful irony that the fifth album from the Sugababes is called Change. Having survived two line-up changes, is something that would kill off many pop groups, but not Sugababes. With this album, they got their second number one album and their biggest hit, About You Now. It follows nicely from Taller in More Ways and helped them retain their crown as one of the pop girl groups from the UK. The changes they were known for would be the final line-up’s biggest downfall. But at that moment, they were doing alright. It was clear many people were missing Mutya, and some were missing Siobhan too, but they had some good solo albums to listen to from Mutya and Siobhan.

My Favourite Stories from Tom Bradbury
I was shocked to hear that fellow Vocal writer, Tom Bradbury passed away in a fire at his home in France. Everybody in the Vocal community groups on Facebook had interacted with him or at least heard of him. He had been an active member in the Vocal community and he won second place twice in two vocal challenges, which is an amazing achievement. I was happy to see him place because it gave me faith in the Vocal challenges. I started to suspect that they were won by fake profiles, but seeing a writer I knew place in the challenge made me believe in them again.

Catfights & Spotlights by the Sugababes
With the popularity of the first five albums and the notorious reputation of the last album, it’s a shame that the sixth album of the Sugababes is so overshadowed. It may not have sold as well as the previous five albums, but it’s pleasant album to listen to because I love the 60’s vibes to it and the ballads are lovely. The album does have some weak links, mostly the singles for me because I’m not too keen on them much. The Sugababes have had a fair few flop singles, but they’ve always seemed to bounce back up afterwards.
