Fixing The WWE Draft
The 2024 Draft Did not live up to expectations. Triple H moving the draft to the actual sports draft season was a smart move that made WWE seem connected to the sports world. Bringing back legends to announce draft picks also made the draft feel even more authentic. However, WWE isn't a sport. It's sports entertainment, which, at its best, allows WWE to play out athletic competition in the most entertaining way imaginable.

Kamille is All Elite: A Look at the Possibilities
There were many months of speculation and rumors, but it's finally official: Kamille is All Elite! This news pleases me to no end. Kamille is basically one of the top reasons why I watched NWA programming on YouTube. In fact, it was because of NWA that I learned about Kamille. When I first saw her, she was portraying that silent but deadly bodyguard role--similar to the late, great Chyna until became vocal in the Attitude Era's progression. Kamille was the villainous enforcer for then-NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis, who is currently serving as SmackDown's General Manager, and she would later become the lone female member of NWA's super-villainous faction, Strictly Business, which was led by Aldis and also consisted of Kamille's real-life husband, Thomas Latimer.

Melina Perez's 5 Best Evil Moments
Today is the birthday of my all time favorite icon in the world of women's wrestling: Melina Perez. I've mentioned my Melina fandom on Vocal a few times, including writing about actually meeting her via a virtual meet and greet (I'm still surprised that I wasn't nervous through the whole thing). I love so many things about Melina, but of course, the thing I love the most is her immense ability to portray a villainess on-screen.

Outbracket Game has John Jay Fall in Overtime to Rye Neck
After playing an even first half in the out bracket game versus 12th seeded Rye Neck, John Jay fell behind by a dozen in the third. Refusing to give in nonetheless, the Wolves came back and forced overtime on Wednesday February 14. So five more minutes added, the boys definitely didn’t shy away.

Holla, Holla, Holla! A Look Back at Theodore Long's GM Tenure
I've said many times that I'm grateful to WWE for filling that void left by the NHL lockout in 2004-2005. Fortunately, a lot of wild stuff was happening on WWE television at that time. The tail end of 2004 saw the World Heavyweight Championship picture become quite interesting on Raw, while SmackDown had a lot of interesting developments going on that brand. Among them was the hiring of a new General Manager: Theodore Long.

Kayla Harrison is finally joining the UFC
Apologies for not writing in a while and even being very late in this reaction. Life behind the keyboard has been interesting to say the least. But Kayla making her way to the UFC is too important of a topic for me NOT to talk about before it's too late. Kayla Harrison is now officially in the UFC and will make her debut at UFC 300 in April against Holly Holm. This is MONSTEROUS news for the WMMA world and WMMA fans. I truly never expected this day to happen. I always thought Kayla would be another MMA "What-If", but nope she's now in the UFC.
