It is a rare and beautiful occasion when venturing out into the mysterious and unpredictable world that your eyes meet with a complete stranger and the two of you know immediately that you are both thinking the exact same thing. It is a day for global mental health education and advocacy against social stigmas that so frequently surround various mental health issues. Every year, thousands of supporters come to celebrate this annual awareness program to bring attention to mental illness and its major effects on people's lives worldwide.

"They Use Us as Pawns and Props" - An Interview with an American Veteran
The other day, I saw a picture on Twitter of an American veteran who had lost both his legs overseas. The source of this image was a random nobody who was using his picture to say how much this veteran wished he could stand for the national anthem and that everybody else should to honor his sacrifice. Now, this person had no connection whatsoever to this soldier, but she apparently believed she had a crystal clear understanding of exactly what this man believed in. It struck me as a rather insulting assumption. This man gave his limbs for this country, and he was just getting spoken for as to what that sacrifice means.

This tiny, low budget documentary was thirty plus years in the making and yet captures more than 90 years of film history in its remarkably fun 87 minutes. The history captured in The Lost City of DeMille is that of the director who defined the early days of film and was both progenitor and savior of the art form in its infancy and pubescence. For that alone, The Lost City of DeMille deserves our praise.

In 2013, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) confirmed that companies could announce "key information in compliance with Regulation Fair Disclosure (Regulation FD)" on social media platforms, provided they alert investors as to which social media platform they will use to broadcast such information. The SEC announcement came after an investigation by the Division of Enforcement for a post by Netflix CEO Reed Hastings. On his personal Facebook page, Hastings had mentioned that, monthly, Netflix had more than one billion hours of streaming video. Since the information was neither mentioned in the press release nor in Form 8-K filing, the stocks reacted sharply to the Facebook post.
