Why Do Superheroes Wear Their Underwear on The Outside?
Superman. Batman. Captain America. Spider-Man. What comes to mind when you hear those names? Chances are it's their costumes, with all of the accessories and accouterments that come with them. Whether it's Iron Man's red-and-gold Mark III suit, the Punisher's iconic death's head, or even Rorschach's constantly-shifting visage, a superhero's costume is part of what completes the image and makes them stand out to the reader. Without a costume there's something missing. Why is that? Well, the answer might surprise you.

Spider-Man Villains that Need a Movie
Spider-Man has one of the most iconic and impressive super villain galleries in all of Marvel, and with the success of the recent Venom movie, along with the use of some lesser known villains such as Mysterio and Vulture in the past few Spider-Man movies, it gives some of Spider-Man's other enemies a chance to make themselves known. Whether it is their own movie or simply a role in the next Spider-Man sequel, these villains definitely deserve a chance to be on the big screen.

Justice League vs Avengers
The Justice League and the Avengers are the two most well known superhero teams of all time, but that does not stop the Marvel vs DC debate from creating countless debates posing the question, "Who would come out on top?" Regardless of the many movies, comics, and shows about these heroes, it is hard to decide which team is superior. Therefore to find out we will be comparing each superhero with their rival comic's counterpart, and then count up the points to decide who will win. Also we will not be considering the Justice League and Avengers crossover. Obviously the superhero team with the most wins will be the winning team.

'Wild C.A.T.S': Worthy of the Silver Screen?
DC is reviving one of the dopest, most underrated comic superhero teams out there, and I want all of the smoke that comes with it. Jim Lee deciding to bring WildC.A.T.S. out of mothballs to spearhead a re-imagining of the entire WildStorm Comic Universe in a limited collection got me thinking about how the original Image iteration of the WildC.A.T.S. would translate to the big screen. A couple of things need to be clarified before we explore this fan topic any further.1) THIS cheesy representation of the comic CANNOT be the first thing in folks minds IF a movie re-make is thought about (the show opening IS pretty dope, though).

'Iron Man 3'—The MCU's Secret Gem
Marvel’s Cinematic Universe is a large, diverse, and daunting collection of film that stretches over 10 years. Supplying the fans with 22 movies and another, Spider-Man: Far From Home, on the way within the next couple of days. With such a large body of work, it comes as no surprise that some of the films could be overshadowed by their own familial movies. Perhaps one of the most underrated examples of this can be found with Iron Man 3. The first of the trilogy starring Robert Downey Jr. was the start of the MCU phenomenon and is credited with changing the superhero movie game entirely (deservedly so). But the third film is often stacked at the bottom of MCU lists (not deservedly so). Iron Man 3 is actually the secret gem of the 22 movies. As opposed to the other movies before and after it, Iron Man 3 is a new kind of superhero story with more of an emotional depth. Those emotions provide for excellent growth within Tony’s relationships (both old and new), which inherently gives the viewer a new personal look into the characters. From that, the story-telling grows intensely in this movie and does something bold. Iron Man 3 was another side to the superhero story that is portrayed accurately and leaves viewers and fans with an even stronger attachment to the characters than they had before, this is an MCU film like no other.

Captain America's Influence on Society Today
Captain America is a character that has impacted our current society. While in the past it was through the comic book character, today it is mostly with the movie version. Captain Rogers affects different groups of people in different types of ways. To begin with, Captain America, and all other media, influences the economic state of the United States. The website The Numbers demonstrates how in the worldwide box office Captain America: The First Avenger made $370,569,776, Captain America: The Winter Soldier made $714,401,889, and Captain America: Civil War made $1,140,075,017 (the numbers 1). This clearly portrays how successful and popular the character is with today’s audiences; as shown by the previous paragraph, his traits and decisions make him an entrancing superhero to watch.
