Cosmic Princess Kaguya!
I have decided that this is going to be the year I branch out more. I am going to watch more anime, more foreign language films, and I am going to rewatch less. With that, I decided to start my movie reviewing this year with Netflix's newest anime addition.

"Beyond the Gates" Weeks 45 & 46 Recap
I did mention this in the last recap, but it is hard to believe that Beyond the Gates is closing in on celebrating one year on CBS. It seemed like yesterday that the very first episode aired. It seemed like yesterday that I actually watched a full episode of a soap for the first time in my entire life. But in actuality, it was just over 11 months ago. Very amazing. Beyond the Gates continues to excel, to excite, and to impress in just under a year's time.

Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
With the disappointment that is House of the Dragon and the let down that was the ending of Game of Thrones, I am going into The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms very cautiously. Because as we have learned with the world of Westeros, just because a show starts off good or interesting does not mean that it is going to stay that way.

Six 100-Word Movie Reviews
Sorry, Baby (2025), Director/Star: Eva Victor, Actors: Naomi Acki, Louis Cancelmi Get ready for a total downer film. I’ll start with the pros. Sorry, Baby is a well-directed drama that distinguishes skillful direction around a sensitive topic. Director, writer, and star Eva Vincent based the film on a personal experience of navigating sexual assault trauma. This film is meant to help others who are in her place. The cons: it’s a downer subject matter, the direction is strange in parts, and the acting is cringeworthy. What has happened to Fred Hechinger’s (Gavin) career? His character and acting are a total cringe-fest. Others may have different opinions from mine. Check it out.

Theatre at the Bell Howls "Lila the Werewolf" Onto the Stage
I don’t know how to say this - she’s a werewolf, and I’m a human. Theatre at the Bell is bringing “Lila the Werewolf,” a short story written by Peter S. Beagle, to the stage this February. Farrell is about to break up with his girlfriend, Lila, only to discover that she is a werewolf. He has to decide whether to leave her or continue a relationship that has lost its moon.

Power Rangers Review: "White Light"
It's been a few minutes since I last wrote a Power Rangers review, but I know where I left off. For those of you who remember, I don't do every episode, just the stand out moments, and the franchise has had quite a few. The last review I wrote covered the permanent end of the Green Ranger, and as I said before, I took this much better than I did regarding the candle in Season One, because this time, there was no way out, no Plan B. Tommy received mentions following the end of the "Green No More" arc, with a big one coming in the following episode, "Missing Green," which centered on Jason's guilt and self-blame regarding Tommy losing his powers.

My Top 10 Favorite Feel-Good Movies
#1 - Marcel the Shell With Shoes On (9/10) I watched this with a group of friends the first time, with my fiance the second time and my sister the third time. Every time I watch, I enjoy it even more. While it is a tear-jerker at times, Marcel the Shell With Shoes On is also a touching, feel-good film that reminds us to appreciate the little things and always remember what is truly important in life. A beautiful film I highly recommend.

I will also show Rotten Tomatoes' score on each one in addition to my score. I am curious to know what everyone thinks, please let me know in the comments below!

"A Little Night Music": A Lovely Theatrical Experience at Marblehead Little Theatre
The night has smiled three times... the smile for the fools was particularly broad tonight. Marblehead Little Theatre welcomes audiences to “A Little Night Music,” with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Set in 1900 Sweden, the story follows tangled love affairs among mismatched lovers as they confront love, regret, and second chances during a weekend away in the country.

My Top 10 Favorite Bizarre Movies. Content Warning.
#1 - It's What's Inside (9/10) Easily one of my favorite horror/comedies of all time now, It's What's Inside is a wild ride. While you might think this is just another run-of-the-mill film about a college reunion gone wrong based on Google's quick overview, this movie is anything but predictable and far from your average teen thriller.
