The very best in geek and comic entertainment.
F**K Wendy
You know what? I don’t get it. It’s a fucking nightgown. A gown. Like a full on long blue nightgown. I know, I know. She’s not the problem. It’s not her. It’s just that she caters to him and I’m so freaking over it. He’s all excited, because he never wants to grow up, bla, bla, and bla. Still. He’s grown enough and jumping through the window of a girl/woman/whatever in the middle of the night and yammering on about being able to fly or something like that. In most places, in most worlds, that’s just plain creepy and really ill advised and inappropriate in today’s climate.

'9-5' The Musical
At the weekend I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to see 9-5 at the Savoy Theatre with my family. I have always loved Dolly Parton, and I love her personality, and what she has stood for. However, I did not expect such strong messages to be shown through the 9-5 musical. It was incredible—and such valuable messages were portrayed through fabulous acting and clever scenes.

We all have that special someone in our life who we affectionately call a “geek”. While middle schoolers might think this to be an insult, adults know better: being a geek means being openly passionate about something that means the world to you. DC's Next Phase?
It is not a surprise or even debatable that DC has a lot of catching up to when it comes to movies. Marvel's well organized and cinematic universe has proved to be extremely successful and with DC's foot in the door with movies like Wonder Woman and Shazam, there is a lot of potential with DC's next phase of movies as long as they plan everything right. Here are some comic book heroes that could and should be part of the DC Extended Universe.

Friday Night Lights
Please note this article contains some "sensitive" information. This is just my opinion. All I did this weekend was binge watch TV shows and clean my apartment. I did not leave the comfort of my apartment, except to take my dog on walks. While I was scrolling through Amazon Prime, I came across the series, Friday Night Lights. This used to be on Netflix, but I am unsure if it is still available.

The Streaming War: All the Major Players
Everyone knows about the so-called streaming wars, but, like most would be gimmicks, have brushed the whole thing off as another cheap marketing ploy to gain subscribers. This war is something that seems amusing when trying to get people’s attention when something big happens at Netflix, or someone makes a move over to Hulu. But most of the time, viewers just scroll past those headlines because they do not know the sheer gravity of the situation.

Movie Review: 'Shaft'
Shaft is back with a vengeance. If you are a longtime fan of Shaft, you will enjoy watching this action-packed, comedic movie. Directed by Tim Story, Shaft is a type of movie that adults ages 18+ can watch, and have a good time. I wouldn’t recommend children see this movie.
