Since the dawn of time, mankind has looked to the stars in wonder. We've traced constellations, charted the heavens, and even connected the fate of our lives to the very "signs" we're born under. It's easy to look at astrology and scoff or laugh it off as nonsense, yet there is an undeniable draw to the signs and their prophetic annotations in our daily lives. It's common to find someone who doesn't believe in predetermination or fate, yet it's astoundingly rare to find someone who doesn't know their birth-sign. While some use their signs as their inspiration for their choices, many believe that they have no control over the outcome of their fate due to the sign that they were born under. The key to having a strong relationship and understanding of your Zodiac Sign is understanding where it came from in the first place.

Hidden in the stars are the secrets of our personalities. When and where were each of us born? I’m not sure when astrology became such a trendy thing. Being half Chinese, I had always ascribed more to the Eastern astrology which is celebrated each year. There are 12 animals, their order based on when they passed into the kingdom (think Noah’s ark but more regal). For each passing of any one particular zodiac, there are different elements – water, fire, wood, earth, and metal. Today, 2/26/21 (I’m cutting it close to this deadline), is Chap Goh Meh.

Venus is my sister.
Being a Taurus is means that you are one of a kind. There is absolutely no one like you and others that. It's the down to earth vibes mostly. We know Taurus is a earth sign, ironically my favorite color is green. I love any and every shade of green. I love taking nature walks through the national parks looking at the different wildlife that surrounds us. I take joy in consuming the sun rays along with aromatic scented flower beds and sweet little birdies singing a tune. I cannot imagine staying cooped up inside all day. I have to get outside and inhale that fresh air.

It's All in the Stars
There has been a fair bit of scholarly research on the subject of astrology and whether it has scientific or statistical merit-quite a bit more than I expected, honestly. It largely tacks toward there being no statistical correlation between personality traits and the sign in the zōidiakòs kýklos, the zodiac system with which most of us are familiar. There are some who did find correlation, but those studies were not repeatable. I've included a few references to some articles below, for fun. But the question before us isn't about the science, nor is astrology beholden to scientific approval or validation.

The Planetarium My Soul Belongs To
It makes sense. Doesn't it? If the Moon affects the Earth based off of its gravitational field. Wouldn't the planets affect the Earth due to their gravitational fields as well? And if these gravitational fields affect Earth itself, it makes sense that the Moon and the planets would affect the creatures living on Earth.
