astronomy
Celestial objects and the phenomena that surrounds them. What lies above the earth forever out of reach. From moons, to stars, galaxies, and beyond.
Comfort in the Stars
Many dismiss astrology as nothing more than a myth. A joke amongst friends. ‘My horoscope says I’m going to win the lottery tonight lol’. For me, I’ve always found the stars to be a comfort. Strangers suddenly seem less ominous, less distant, less like strangers when I find out their sign.

Astrology
Astrology. Ah that old romantic, dare I say sexy, unconventional, dare I say kooky, field of study rooted in ancient philosophies that has taken on many forms but practiced by eccentrics from all over the globe since before the birth of Christ. In case there’s anyone out there who has been living under an asteroid, let’s have Wikipedia explain. After all, the internet encyclopedia is more trusted today than…astrology:

Do you suffer for foot in your mouth syndrome?
So you think you suffer from foot in mouth syndrome, try being a Sagittarius. We are notoriously known for speaking without thinking. Most of the time, we don’t even know we are doing it till we see the hurt look on the other person’s face. But I mean, there are only so many ways to tell a person that they look like a dog, right.

I’m a Libra
I was born on October 1st so that makes me a Libra. I am not much into astrology so other than it somehow being connected to the scales and pink zirconia being my birthstone that’s really all I knew about it before doing my research. I do read my horoscope from time to time but not on a regular basis. My grandmother read both our horoscopes everyday when she was alive. But since she passed away I only read mine if I come across it by chance. One funny note is that I was always told that it is bad luck to read another persons horoscope. I would tell my grandmother not to read my horoscope but she ignored me, as usual, and she lived to be 101 years old and had fairly good luck! I’m not very superstitious; however, I only read my own horoscope just to be on the safe side.

Don't Be Shy Of Your Shadow
There Are Two Dark Influences That Need Confronting: Lillith, our demonic moon, and Chiron, our centaur planet My Grandmother studied astrology decades before we could get a quick read online. Her valuable advice has gotten me through the darkest years of my life. And the one thing I would ask of anyone is to take a deeper look at the darker sides of their natal charts.

Perfectly Aligned
I am royalty on all sides! My parents named me ReGina which means Queen in Late Latin, and I was born under the Astrological Sign of Leo, the Lion, The King/Queen of the Jungle! So I have no choice to be Royal and Regal in everything that I do! I operate under my own power, never conforming to the norm.

The Crab
Hey...wait that's too boring to start a conversation, that's how everyone starts off introducing themselves, but as a human race that's what we're good at, following the 'trend'. So Hi...my name is Jennifer given to me by birth from my mother. I dont get why children are forced with names they haven't even chosen for themselves, we should all get temporary names until we're 5 years old or something or any age where we reach some sense to pick our own name. It's not fair to label someone where they had no say in. I was born on the 4th of July so that would mean my sign is a cancer. I was born the night of independence day at 10:40 pm and my mother told me I came a few hours earlier. Not that the date of our births are in much of our control but again, it is in others. Some parents are induced and have their babies earlier than they would have naturally and so forth. Some days can be one day off which is nothing huge but what about someone who was born on a cusp? Or someone who would have been a Cancer but was induced to a Gemini? Would that have changed their whole personalities in a few days apart? Even with Cancers I've seen that even the months of a cancer are different, meaning between the June and July Cancers. According to an article from the Fox 5 and diego website, two twins, Joslyn and Jaxon were born 30 minutes apart but in different years and decades. Joslyn was born on 11:37 pm New Years Eve of 2019 and Jaxon was born 30 minutes after on new years of 2020. This meant they had different birth months, days, years and even decades. Will this mean these twins would have some differences even though they both fall under the capricorn astrological sign?

Stunning New Images of Venus from the Parker Solar Probe
The Parker Solar Probe, designed for detailed study of the Sun, has another advantage - it is able to examine planets as it passes their orbits. As it refines its orbit around our Sun, Parker will pass Venus a total of seven times over its seven-year mission. The Parker probe uses the gravitational pull of planets to bend its path through the Solar System.
