Hey folks, Mr. Foodie here with another great, easy, and cost effective recipe. Being raised on 4 different farms, 1 our family farm and 2 farms of my grandparents and 1 of great grandparents, I am very familiar with the use of mason jars to store food items. When I was a young lad, I helped my family operate several truck patches, that delivered bulk fresh produce to local IGA’s. so, it is easy for me to create recipes that I’m able to serve straight out of a jar. This is perfect for a busy family, who can serve a delicious, well prepared salad on demand. Almost all the vegetable and herb ingredients, I was able to use from my garden, making it a cost-effective meal. I like my salads crunchy, so I always keep salted shelled sunflower seeds handy, to dust the top at the time of serving

The Best Millionaire’s Shortbread Ever
Millionaire’s shortbread, caramel shortbread, caramel slice, twix bars, whatever you wanna call ‘em. They’re all super tasty and so easy to make. This is one of my favorite treats whenever I visit the U.K., and each place does it differently. This recipe uses a standard 3:2:1 ratio for the crust, this ensures a nice crumbly shortbread biscuit. The point is to keep it as simple as possible without sacrificing any of the flavors.

While on social media, one of the accounts I see posts from is from the account Tasty. Their website consists of various dishes and recipes that I wanted to try, yet didn’t have all the necessities for. Some time ago, however, I actually found one I had nearly all the ingredients for; they’re basically chocolate chip cookies with chocolate in the middle and made in a muffin tin.

I made Dominique Ansel's Cronuts at Home.. Top Story - May 2020.
If you don't know who Dominique Ansel is perhaps you've heard of the Cronut. If you haven't heard of the Cronut, prepare to have your mind blown. Imagine a croissant. Flaky, crispy, tender, crumbs falling when you bite into it. Now, picture that in the shape of a donut. It's a circle, with a smaller circle inside cut out. Now, the best part is, this croissant/donut was actually deep fried. Just like an actual donut is instead of baked like a croissant.
