Kolacxzki Cookies, Timeless Tradition.
Every holiday season my mother and I made these traditional polish cream cheese cookies and they are divine. Yet not all fruit filled cookies are the same. This recipe gives you soft, melt in your mouth cookies. I’ve had cookies from bakeries that were on the crunchier side. A mystery I’ll never figure out, same cookie, same filling; different consistency?

The Best Homemade Hennessy Cake And Exotic Drink Recipes
Did you know that you can actually use Hennessy in certain foods? Do you like hennessy or do you love hennessy? Hennessy is considered a staple drink in homes around the world. Mostly for it´s infamously smooth liquer taste. Loved by connoisseurs for it´s bold, rich flavor and how smooth it goes down the palette.

Gingerbread house
Above: My first ever gingerbread house (From Scratch!!!!). My family has never had a gingerbread house for Christmas before. But after I read yet another Christmas book which had a gingerbread house in it, I decided I would (hopefully) make one every year from now on.

Homemade Sugar Cookies
There’s no nice or easy way to tell a die hard cookie lover that they are not a die hard cookie lover if they’ve never tasted rainbow sugar cookies. Especially if their my homemade mystery rainbow sugar cookies. It’d be like a kid not getting a gift on Christmas or like telling a five year old that Santa doesn’t actually exist. That used to be unheard of. No one would actually leave a kid empty handed on Christmas or even blatantly tell a five year old that old St. Nick is really just ol’ St. Mom and Dad. Every cookie lover should get to experience this delightful treat. It’s definitely hard not to overdose on cookies without wearing the guilt of consuming tons of calories. However, if you do have risk factors, be sure to see the nutrition info beforehand. In the mean time, there’s one thing I can certainly assure all cookie loving monsters of. That is, if you haven’t had these goodies, try this recipe. It’ll have you as a top favorite for serving mouthwatering mystery sugar cookies that you won’t forget. Not to mention, any feelings of guilt you may have once had about never tasting these delicious colorful sweet treats, will be short felt if you hurry now and get to baking.

To Love and Question
Ahh... I am a strange one because I do not eat the common household delights such as sugary treats for the Holidays, anymore. I eat amazing, delicate, food that is made with ACTUAL maple syrup (the pure kind) Most people don't even know what that is in my experience. I just began this in 2020 by the way, I had to create change. But I understand, everyone loves to do things in a common pattern with the world that surrounds them, and sugar is one of them. I just like to do things uh... differently! Yes, I love all cookies. Yes, I enjoy sugar. Yes, I am a beast of a cook and when I throw my self into the comfort and serenity perhaps, of creating something from scratch I get a surge of energy that I chase and it is comforting. So why do I need to put more fat storage in my body just for a quick bite of happiness that does not last? Being free is what matters. And personally I have discovered that maple syrup goes down oh so nice... and it makes everything taste like sugar anyways.

Love, Laughs, And Lefse
What dessert do you associate with Christmas? For me that dessert is lefse. I grew up with it being a tradition to make it every year, and the tradition still continues. The lefse recipe has been passed down five generations. My Great Grandma taught my Grandma, who taught my Mom, who taught my siblings and I, who in turn have taught my nieces and nephews.

Mulled Wine and Christmas Cookies
Let me tell you the story of the first time I had mulled wine because it was quite magical... About an hour North of Rome there is a small mountainside town called Castel Gandolfo. The town consists of a mansion, where the Pope used to spend his vacations, a breathtaking view of a lake inlaid in the valley below, and a street of peach and pale yellow buildings resting on a ground of cobblestone. This is where the story begins. The air was cold and the sky was cloudy, and a slight drizzle began to fall. My classmates and I had come unprepared for the weather. Thankful as I was that I had at least decided to throw on a thin windbreaker, I wished I had also thought about throwing on a winter coat. We embarked on a guided tour. The history of the town was fascinating, and the view of the lake, with light-dotted mountains across the way, was stunning. But the cold was sinking in.
