So let’s start at the beginning. Ever since Cal-L dropped his first album Resplendence in mid-March of 2019 we’ve been able to notice that his electrifying sound is something very different than most other artist in this New Age hip-hop era. Instead of verses full of violence or drugs he’s taken a more “youthful” approach to the game painting us pictures of a heroes journey through the 21st century. He’s on many occasions stated that he, “intends to path his way to the top of the industry doing things his own way.” in Super-Hero fashion it seems, a way only the Superman of Entertainment can pull off. With his newest EP Outer-Space he does just that. Not only is it filled with golden nuggets of relatable knowledge it also gives us a feeling of hopping into a spaceship with Cal-L as he takes us on a journey through his universe.

Hi all! Another week, another Tunes to Get Grooving To! Last week I brought you five newly released songs that I knew you would absolutely love. Black Swan: BTS is Back!
B. T. S. is. HERE. BTS is currently in the middle of a promotion for their new album, Map of the Soul: 7. They normally come out with new content frequently, but the past few months have been relatively quiet for them. Now, they’ve released the first single for their new album, and it’s everything I’ve wanted and more. I knew I missed their music, but I didn’t quite know how much until I was listening to the new song all day when it was released. Each of the seven have great voices, their beats are always on point, and every song feels like a new style.

The song "I Saw You" which was release 19th November 2019 was inspired by "Yemi Alade - Johnny". It is meant to be funny and relative. This song is a mix between afro-beat and pop genre. It tells a story about infidelity from both a man and woman's perspective. The UK Singer-Songwriter "Rachel Babatunde" and Nigerian Producer/artist "Chibuikem Onyinanya" came together to make such a unique afropop style for the very first time. The song is under xxdestinedstarzrecordsxx and available in various distribution websites i.e spotify, tidal, itunes etc.

You could listen to music non stop without repeating a song for the rest of your life and never come close to hearing everything that’s ever been recorded. The flip side of this is that it’s pretty much impossible to make the drive from your home to your place of work without hearing the same three annoying new releases played at least twenty times.

'Everything In Its Right Place' (The Music Video)
It’s hard to really love most music videos today which tend to be shallow and lacking in any original thought. During past decades leading up to the 2000’s, it seems like actual effort and work was put into music videos of songs in order to get on MTV but also to highlight the themes of the song as well as the entire album. There are a number of my favorite artists who produce great music videos including Radiohead, The Smashing Pumpkins, U2, Oasis, Dave Matthews Band, etc. However, MTV and official music videos are not what they used to be.
