i love you
(Note: I am not a Vocal+ member but I decided to write this for fun instead of for money.) 18-year-old pop phenomenon Billie Eilish has risen into incredible, prominent, global fame in the last year. Her debut song, dreamy love ballad ocean eyes, garnered millions of listen on SoundCloud and the attention of several big name labels. Billie's 2017 EP, don't smile at me, debuted in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia in the Top 15 Charts. Finally, with the release of her first LP album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? last March, Billie made the astronomical leap from relatively popular to the biggest global pop sensation in the 21st Century.

Mississippi by Bob Dylan; or How I Learned to Stop Worrying…
Bob Dylan has been a massive part of my life for a while and I think we can all name at least one song he has sung. Whether it be from the protest days of “Blowin’ in the Wind” or from the Gospel Era with “Property of Jesus”. Bob Dylan has had a profound impact on the world of music and how we see songwriting today. I never thought that a song could actually change my life so much that I would begin to question what kind of person I was, but here I am today - a changed human being because of one folk song.

Bittersweet Symphony
Love at first Sound~ I had never truly felt what I considered to be an out of body experience until the moment Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve first graced my ears. From the moment the violin intro began playing, no longer was I sitting in the floor of my dads living room in my pajamas but instead my soul had been sucked into the ending scene of cruel intentions and I was now Annette Hargrove. I could feel the wind whipping my hair as I sped down the highway in that flashy Jaguar convertible, shades on, breathing in sunlight and freedom. I sat with the tone of this moment wondering at its duality, it was both tragic and beautiful.

How Linkin Park’s ‘Waiting For The End’ Helped Me Find Closure and a New Outlook on Life
We all have dreams. Goals that we set ourselves so our lives have a sense of meaning and something to look forward to when we wake up early in the morning, ready to face a new day. How many times haven’t you replayed, in your head, a scenario or situation that you wish it to become true. What happens when, after all the time and effort you invested, the outcome is not what you expected? We strive always for success but do you consider the possibility of failure? We prepare ourselves all our lives to succeed, but are we prepared to lose?

5 Songs for your Soul
Music is an essential need for our everyday activities. I've been expanding my interests in other songs, not looking at the beat, but at the lyrical content to understand the song. Amidst my search in new songs, with a mature understanding to what the artist has been conveying through a clear focus. I've found the songs to share that have gotten me through some dark times to heal my soul during rough patches of my life. If you are going through a rough part in your life and need some peace through music. I hope this list helps.

'Haven't Met You Yet' By Michael Bublé Tells a Great Love Story
Michael Bublé is a 44-year-old Canadian-Italian singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He loves singing, and I love listening to him no matter what he is singing. I believe I could listen to him even if he is just warming up with do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do. I have never missed any of his Christmas specials on television. I am disappointed when there isn't one.

Top 5 Underrated Lana Del Rey Songs
Lana Del Rey has rose to prominence for the musical styles of psychedelic sounds with a story of troubled pasts, a tragic love story, or toxic affections. Over the years she's bestowed her beautiful voice and creative songwriting in six albums from the last decade. In the release of Norman F**cking Rockwell, I’ve been revisiting the songs on her albums and found some of the songs that didn’t get the glamour treatment from this glamour sadcore singer.
