Somers Dominates at John Jay, Defeats Croton on Senior Night

But going up 18 half way through the third certainly seemed to alleviate old wounds. That is until John Jay cut the lead to ten. So an answer was needed, and Keimig made the grade, according to Coach Loughlan.

Greeley-Jay Suffers Gut Wrenching Loss to Pawling
Scroll to end for photos and video On Friday January 16, Greeley-Jay hosted Pawling at the Brewster Ice Arena and neither team backed down in the face of numerous momentum shifts. Pawling led 2-0, John Jay tied, and the game stood at 5-4 with 11 minutes remaining. Unfortunately, the deciding momentum was gut wrenching for the home team.

Strang Middle School in Yorktown heights and fell by a close score of 49-39. Not a powerhouse team, the numbers don’t tell the whole story, according to Jimmy Gallivan of Yorktown High School.

All Manor of Things On Route 100, the Pinewood Sanitorium once treated Psychiatric patients, and in 1954 the property was deeded to the Keswick Colony of Mercy, which served recovering alcoholics. Passing over, the site was proposed as a reformatory for delinquent girls. But opposition from residents and town officials killed the initiative. Somers Manor eventually took its place and now senior living resides
