Where the Sun Meets the Earth. Runner-Up in History Would’ve Burned This Page Challenge.
The red Nebraska sun had dipped down to kiss the tops of the corn stalk sentinels, silhouetting them against the burnt orange sky as they marched off to the horizon. Howard slowly meandered back to the farm house, a rivulet of sweat slipped down his neck under the collar of his work shirt and his muscles ached from a long day of working the fields with his brother. As he neared the rickety old porch he spotted his sister bent over a bucket shucking fresh picked ears of corn. A soft breeze floated past, carrying the sound of Lorna Belle’s gentle voice.

What's In Your House
There were most likely different photo's that would have been more appropriate for this article. However, my splash one (although it was good), and my rainbow one (although it was good), were getting a bit old, and I have used it for so many articles, it was time for a change. So this is the rose bush in my back yard. It is indeed also very pretty indeed.

Gold Frames...
March 12th, 1915... My Dear Beth, I know that you were born a month ago, and named for your mother, my dearest Bess. She tells me that she kissed my gold-framed photograph each night, now on your behalf as well as her own, until you are old enough to do it yourself. I pray that the Great War will be over before then, or that I will have had leave enough to come home so you both can kiss me in person, before that time.

The Net Worth of the Golden River: Measuring the Value of History’s Greatest Myth
So what is the net worth of the Golden River? While it cannot be calculated like a bank account or a gold reserve, its value can be estimated through economic loss, potential mineral wealth, cultural impact, and historical influence. When all these dimensions are considered, the Golden River may be worth more than any physical treasure ever discovered.

Origins of the Golden River Legend The story of the Golden River originates in South America, among indigenous civilizations long before European contact. The Devil’s Bible: Mystery, Myth, and the Codex Gigas. AI-Generated.
What Is the Codex Gigas? The Codex Gigas was created in the early 13th century, most likely around 1229, in the Kingdom of Bohemia (modern-day Czech Republic). The name Codex Gigas literally means “Giant Book”, and the title is well deserved. The manuscript measures about 92 cm tall, 50 cm wide, and 22 cm thick, weighing nearly 75 kilograms. It takes at least two people to lift it. The manuscript contains 310 parchment pages, made from animal skin—estimated to come from over 100 donkeys or calves. Its sheer physical scale alone sets it apart from any other medieval book. Why Is It Called the Devil’s Bible? The Codex Gigas earned its ominous nickname because of a full-page illustration of the Devil, one of the most striking and unsettling images in medieval manuscripts. The Devil is depicted with claws, horns, greenish skin, and an eerie expression, standing alone on a blank background. Opposite this illustration is a depiction of the Heavenly City, symbolizing the eternal conflict between good and evil. According to legend, the manuscript was created by a single monk who had broken his monastic vows and was sentenced to be walled alive as punishment. To escape this fate, the monk promised to write a book in a single night that would glorify God and contain all human knowledge. As midnight approached and he realized the task was impossible, he allegedly made a pact with the Devil, who helped him complete the book. In gratitude—or submission—the monk included the Devil’s portrait inside the manuscript. While historians dismiss this tale as folklore, the legend has significantly contributed to the Codex Gigas’s dark reputation. Contents of the Devil’s Bible Despite its sinister nickname, the Codex Gigas is largely a religious and scholarly work. Its contents include:

Where has our Country Gone
It seems that everyone these days has a voice on I.C.E. Agents. As they should, for if they did not than where would we start. Although we need to stop comparing to the past and focus on what is going on now. Which is now in our country, the Epstein files are still unrealesed, an unlawful agency has sprung up with deranged and unhinged orders, we face every day being told who we shouldn't trust, where we shouldn't go, and how "those people are doing horrible things". I wrote on this once before and I am going to write on it again. Trump and his party are not for the American people, government or way of life. I cannot personally say why he went for presidency. All I know is I have been watching our country fall further down than what was promised to the American people. If there is one thing that I have faith in is that justice will prevail as it always has in the past. But for that to happen we need to look ahead and see how our Bill of Rights protects us. As always do your due research, but our first Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." I.C.E. Agents are told and given full authority to go after people of color, and many of the first nations have responded in kind with letters to their people reminding them to carry both forms of ID. Yet we have peaceful protestors exercising that full right and getting gunned down, maced, their vehicles entered unlawfully. Amendment VI also gets violated by I.C.E Agents. Amendment VI : "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence." I have heard no place or mention of any trials of those accused of not being US citizens, only either being murdered in front of multiple witnesses, with the murderer not having any kind of recourse for his actions where there would be public showing of the trial if one of the "violent", and I use qoutations as in every piece of evidence these protesters are not violent, but rightfully upset with what is happening in their country and exercising every right of their's given to them by our Consition and Bill of Rights but are rather peaceful, protestors had shot and killed any one of the I.C.E Agents. There are no trials being held on either side, as one is following the laws and rights they have been given, and the other are "Just following orders". To the ones that are "Just following Orders" understand that even in the past those that were also "just following orders" were brought to justice and their crimes and sins brought to light and atoned for. There will be justice and it will come when the time is right. For now we still have to keep protesting, voicing ourselves, and making sure to keep recording. Record everything, as the story will always try and be twisted around from the truth. I call an action to every one to keep doing what is right and to not let I.C.E take up residence near you and if they do to know and be fully aware of your rights. History has never forgotten both sides as one way or another everything comes to life. I have been watching as someone who has had a fondness for history and as someone who wants to leave something better for the next generation. We all sided with the resistance no matter what form of fiction it was portrayed in. We have to resist, rebel, and not comply. We have to do so peacefully as we have been doing, and thankfully continue recording. When multiple heads of the military have all made public statements that the military's duty is to protect our nation from threats both foreign and domestic. Right now our threat is domestic and it comes under the disguise as someone who has shown constantly that they are willing to divide the nation to further their own agenda whatever it may be. I will continue to write and share whatever information I find so those that have been wrongfully silenced will not have had their voices taken in vain. We owe it to everyone single one of us to raise our voice at what is going on in our country and to strive to do and be better. We cannot heal nor go forward until we are able to face ourselves as Americans and say, "I will not stand for this anymore".
