A Break on the Moors
The voices had started from the time that she had got there. Melinda didn't believe in ghosts, thought it was a load of hokum, and she willed her brain to capture and hold on to a rational explanation. But there was none, becoming increasingly obvious, the longer she remained in the cottage.

Rachel Reviews: Musings by Phillip Bainbridge
The title of this book certainly serves to give the reader some idea of its content as it is a short book of short poems that takes us on a tour of the poet's thoughts, his musings. But don't let the comment on shortness draw anything away from what is contained here as it is quite a pleasant read and pleasant is vastly underrated in my opinion.

Simon and the Talisman of Time
It was the anniversary of his brother's disappearance. Although bright skies and warm sun were prevalent, his mood muted them to the palest grey. Simon wouldn't go to work today. He would let the darkness of the day envelope him.

Do you believe in ghosts?. Top Story - February 2025.
Disclaimer: My American/Canadian/International friends, I apologise in advance for tempting you with a British TV/radio programme that you probably won't be able to watch/listen to. It could be that there is some way that you can access this. Perhaps the BBC will allow Netflix to have the TV rights like they did "Happy Valley". If you do get a chance to watch it, do. You won't be disappointed.

The Lady of the Lake. Honorable Mention in Legends Rewritten Challenge.

Rachel Reviews: Ruby by Jack Heape
Ruby is a lovely book in every aspect. It has a message but its educational purpose does not overshadow the storytelling so it's not preachy: it is a tale of friendship and courage and how with the right support, great things are possible even though they seem insurmountable at first.
