Japan as it hosts the G7 nations faces a dilemma. Japan has been a pacifist nation for 75 years. WWII ended for Japan with atomic bombs dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. The destruction of these cities and the massive loss of life convinced Japan to surrender. There then followed an American occupation which transformed Japan into a Western democracy. The Emperor became a constitutional monarchy. Japan's constitution forbade Japan to ever take up arms again. Japan had ruled over its conquered territories with brutality.

Rishi Sunak has announced that the UK is sending new long-range attack drones to Ukraine. Sunak and Zelensky will meet at the Prime Ministerial retreat called Chequers. This ancient hall is in the country away from the hustle and bustle of London. Chequers have been used by many Prime Ministers including Winston Churchill during Britain's darkest days.

Rishi Sunak has suffered colossal losses across the country in the local elections. The Conservatives in 13 years of government have to be one of the worst if not the worst administration this country has ever seen. Terrible policies, corruption, out of touch, living in a different universe to ordinary folk, etc. These are just some of the words that could be used to describe this cabal of Conservative criminals.
