Badenoch to Trevor Phillips.
With the Tories trailing in third position behind Reform and Labour Ms. Badenoch has a tough road ahead. Sir Keir Starmer when he became Labour leader, Badenoch, has to use his words: "A mountain to climb". However, Sir Keir reached the top of that mountain and became Prime Minister. Sir Keir in his time as opposition leader faced many challenges. Despite all that, Keir won with a thumping majority and became the denizen of No 10. Whether Ms. Badenoch can climb that proverbial mountain and achieve the goal of replacing Keir, remains to be seen.

Starmer and Trump Talk!
President Trump and Prime Minister Starmer spoke by phone on Sunday. And from all reports, they get on like the proverbial 'house on fire'. This is always the way between British prime ministers and American presidents. Churchill and Roosevelt, Thatcher and Reagan, Major and Bush senior, Blair and Bush junior, Cameron and Obama, etc. The UK and the US have always enjoyed a close relationship. So why would Trump and Starmer be any different?

Holocaust Memorial Day UK.. Content Warning.
As we in the UK reflect on the awful events that took place at Auschwitz, Treblinka, etc, have we forgotten about past and present holocausts? Let us make no bones what happened back then was vile. It's one thing to hate or dislike a group of people but when you extend it to a mass genocide that's another level. The holocaust undertaken by the Nazi regime to destroy a whole community of people based on their faith and ethnicity has to be the most memorable and arguably the worst genocide ever. When you systematically, machinelike, exterminate fellow human beings in the most ghastly manner possible you are beyond redemption (in many people's eyes).

Trump: Vast Changes Afoot!. Content Warning.
No doubt as many Native Americans see Trump complaining about illegal migrants, they understand what he is on about. They faced from day 1 Europeans pouring in and taking their land. Taking their resources and using them for themselves. Native Americans suffered in various ways and were punished when they fought back eventually becoming strangers in their own country. Native Americans today are still very much part of the US. They can be found in all professions. Some live on reservations (reservations in their own land!), some live in towns and cities, etc. Native Americans have increased their population over the last 10 years or so. Sadly, many still live in poverty, joblessness, alcoholism, drug addiction, etc. However, they are still here in American society in one form or another. However, when you look at American media, TV shows, radio, movies, and social media you'd think they were extinct!

Musk's Salute!. Content Warning.
Given the millions Elon Musk spent getting Donald Trump elected he will have a lot of influence on the new administration. He is the richest man on planet Earth, owner of Tesla, Boring Company, Space X, X-formerly Twitter, and Starlink. It has led many to question the very origins of this man. South African-born, Canadian, and now American. Has there ever been a phenomenon like Musk? Some in religious circles see him as the anti-Christ. Others see him as an alien or more accurately a Martian. Some ask why he is so obsessed with the red planet. Musk even plays up to this because he likes to keep people guessing or knows something we don't!

Trump and Starmer: What Now?. Content Warning.
History shows that UK Prime Ministers and US Presidents can get on. The US and UK's relationship hasn't always been rosy. Look at the War of Independence or the 1812 War. However, when WWII broke out Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill got on tremendously. Despite one being a Conservative and the other being a Democrat. Thatcher and Reagan famously got on. Blair and Bush got on. Obama and Cameron got on. That's why the UK and US alliance is called the 'Special Relationship'. Of course, there have been times when that friendliness has been tested. Harold Wilson in the 60s declined to join the US in Vietnam. Reagan was not on board with Thatcher over The Falklands at first. Eventually, he gave her his blessing and aided the UK in the background. Not with US troops serving alongside their UK counterparts but with intelligence.

Bungling Badenoch?. Content Warning.
Kemi Badenoch has been described by the Liberal Democrats as "Bungling Badenoch". Their Deputy Leader, Daisy Cooper, said the above about the Tory leader questioning the fact that the so-called "Triple Lock" pension should be means tested. In other words, if you are a millionaire retiree why should you even get a state pension? The state pension should go to those who are ordinary OAPS. Ms. Badenoch does have a point. A means- tested pension would, in theory, sort the wheat from the chaff. In theory, it would ensure the money goes to those who really need it. When Labour stopped the winter fuel payment for older people Kemi Badenoch seemed to agree. She went on record as saying: "Millionaires should not get the winter fuel payment. Only those on the breadline". However, she described Rachel Reeves stopping the winter fuel payment for all pensioners unless they were on Pension Credit as extreme. In other words, Reeves had targetted pensioners just about surviving.

Starmer Arrives in Ukraine.. Content Warning.
British PM Sir Keir Starmer has arrived in Kyiv. He was met by ministers in Zelenskyss' government. The two leaders will sign a historic treaty. Yes, in this treaty, there will be security guarantees to further aid Ukraine in its war with Russia. However, the treaty is a 100-year treaty for the two nations. Not only on the security and the military front, but in science, industry, and all other fronts. So in essence the treaty aims to be beneficial for both the UK and Ukraine.

Farage Catching Up to Sir Keir!. Content Warning.
Since Kemi Badenoch became Conservative leader two months ago there has been no Tory bounce. And why would there be? People endured 14 years of Tory failure which hurt so many people. Especially hurt were those at the bottom of the pile and people have long memories. If the Tories think as they have arrogantly said "We are the natural party of government" and if the latest YouGov poll is to be believed, they have another thing coming!

Boris: "Fucking Idiot"!. Content Warning.
Wanna be Winston Churchill now living life as a private citizen Boris Johnson, has been waxing lyrical about Vladimir Putin. Calling the Russian President a "fucking idiot". Saying Putin needs to realize that the age of empires is over. Speaking to an Indian outlet Delfi Johnson spoke about the end of the British Empire. India where Boris was interviewed was once part of the British Empire ironically.

Jess Phillips: A National Inquiry.. Content Warning.
The Conservatives have been calling this week for a national inquiry into grooming gangs. Kemi Badenoch has asked Keir Starmer to look at holding a national inquiry into grooming gangs again. For the sake of victims of such heinous crimes, the call is correct.

Yvette Cooper: Ethnicity Should Never Be An Excuse.. Content Warning.
The Grooming Gangs scandal has raised the ire of one Elon Musk. The refusal of Sir Keir Starmer to call for an inquiry into this tragedy has caused yet another spat between Musk and Starmer.
