Two Ear-Worthy Climate Podcasts
It’s encouraging that the number of climate change podcasts continues to grow every day. That growth indicates that people are taking the climate change problem seriously. They want to understand and then somehow be part of the solution, not the problem.

Mental Health Rewritten Podcast
It is estimated that more than one in five U.S. adults live with a mental illness (59.3 million in 2022; 23.1% of the U.S. adult population). If those statistics are not bracing enough, consider how difficult it is to receive treatment for mental illness in the U.S. That difficulty extends to people with robust healthcare insurance.

What We Learned From Podcasts this Week
When podcasts began circa 2005, the bulk of this new medium contained informational shows. True-crime and yuk-yuk shows had not yet infiltrated podcasting. The Final Service Podcast
I attended Catholic elementary and high school and still attend Roman Catholic mass, although not every week anymore. Yet when I do attend, I make two observations. That begs the question: How long can a church survive with a dwindling attendance?

Mayo Clinic On Nutrition Podcast
Even amid this orgy of anti-science with top U.S. government health officials spouting nonsense on fake cures for serious diseases and halting cutting edge cancer research to focus on food additives, the Mayo Clinic is still one of the most admired health care institutions in the U.S.

The Tennis Podcast
The number of tennis podcasts pales compared to team sports podcasts, where every team has a show run either by the team or a large podcast network. Individual sports, like golf and tennis, typically have a smaller podcasting footprint. Tennis has some excellent podcasts, one of the best being The Tennis Podcast. The simplicity of the show’s name belies its excellence in tennis coverage and insightful commentary.

Podcaster Profiles: Diana Krach
Independent podcasters are a tough bunch. They have to be. They exist in an industry where corporations of massive size, political power, and legal advantages have pushed their way in with the intent of pushing everyone else out. It's the "last man standing" scenario.

Uncovering Roots Podcast
Independent podcasters often have life interfere with podcasting. Unlike celebrity podcasters who “have people” who run interference for them, Indie podcasters must cope with jobs, finances, family, friends, and the everyday time crunch we average people deal with.
