Slow Your Rolls...
In the doldrums of summer and the NBA offseason, I find myself on YouTube a lot, often watching basketball or NBA 2K videos. One of my favourite shows to watch is First Take, as I enjoy hearing Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman banter and give their opinions on a myriad of NBA topics. Typically, I agree with at least one of them on any given matter. But a few days ago, I found myself disagreeing with both analysts, and it is actually a topic I have been giving a great deal of thought to the past little while.

The Cleveland Cavaliers Might Exceed Their Expectations
The Eastern Conference will have a new identity come the 2018-2019 season. One free agency signing is responsible for shifting the dynamic of the entire conference. The signing I am referring to is the deal between LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ballin' Out?
When I first heard about Lonzo Ball, it was December 2016. I was on YouTube, scrolling through my subscribed videos for something interesting. I came up on Mike Korzemba's video titled, "Meet Lonzo Ball: Stephen Curry With A 40 INCH VERTICAL!"

Can the Celtics Get to the NBA Finals?
The Eastern Conference will be much different from last year's version. A single free agency signing more or less changed the entire dynamic of the Conference. The signing that I am referring to is the deal between LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

What's the Big Idea?
July 2, 2018. I was sitting in my friend’s living room, watching Marlon! on Netflix (funny stuff, by the way). I was minding my own business, merely being entertained by the hilarity and/or stupidity of Marlon Wayans. Suddenly, my phone vibrated.

Three Reasons Donald Trump is Wrong About LeBron James
Allow me to begin by being up-front about something: I am not a LeBron James fan. Born and raised in the Indianapolis area, I grew up idolizing Reggie Miller, Rik Smits, Dale Davis, Jermaine O’Neal, et cetera. As the game of basketball evolved, the names and people I rooted for changed, but the team did not. There were many years when LeBron James almost single-handedly delivered the fatal blows to my Indiana Pacers’ championship ambitions. His years of dominance in the Eastern Conference are thankfully over, and I confess I did not feel a single moment of sadness at watching him depart for Los Angeles.

The American Basketball Exposure League
Once again, this article will be somewhat different. One of my recent articles was about my newly established YouTube channel. If you read that article, I provided a link to my channel within the article. If you didn't check out the article (or the channel), feel free to do so. In fact, this article revolves around a video that I did on my channel. The video was for the American Basketball Exposure League, so there may be some similarities between this article and that video.

The Start of a New Journey
This article is different from any that I have written on this site. My other articles usually cover things that are "breaking news" in the NBA. I also do opinion articles from time to time, but they are not yet my forte. However, I hope to do more of those in the future.

5 NBA Players Who Have to Prove Themselves in the 2018-2019 Season
1. Carmelo Anthony Carmelo Anthony had a rough 2017-2018 season, having career lows in almost every statistical category this season. Over the years many people have considered Anthony an all-time great player, but he has not won the awards to show it. People have also called Anthony a bad team player and that he only cares about the money. Some examples come from when Anthony said he was not coming off the bench this past season with the Thunder, or when he turned down a chance to join the Chicago Bulls in 2014 and instead stayed with the Knicks even though the Knicks missed the playoffs. This season on the Rockets is really up to Anthony. He needs to show that he wants to do more for a team instead of just score and to accept whatever role the team gives him.
