Wild Love at Christmas Eve
If we grow old together, help me to remember the catch in my voice when I faced this old world anew one Christmas Eve ... Aflock in the town's tavern, my head a mix of love and merry. Downing my glass of Moscato, my head spinning with claustrophobia, I ripped away from the endless whir of clutches and kisses. Pushing open the heavy wooden door, I found relief in the welcome outside air.

Thank You, John Cena
When December 13, 2025 arrived, I welcomed it. I welcomed it with open arms. The reason was simple: I wanted to see how John Felix Anthony Cena, Jr, someone who I've been a fan of for over 20 years, would end his iconic and legendary career.

The Cave Part 1
"What happened to me?" The question hung in the air, damp and hollow as it was. I felt the closeness of the walls, solid and deep. There was no echo. The Poetry Dimension
I have been telling stories since I first learned to speak. I’ve been writing since I first had the motor control to grip a pencil in my little ravioli fist. But if this is the case, dear reader, then why does poetry confuse and upset me so damn much?

Easin' into the Season
The Holiday Season is upon us. Thanksgiving is barely out of the way, and the shops have transitioned from Black Friday sales right into Christmas sales. The local radio stations have been playing carols for about the same length of time. Neighborhood lighting competitions are well underway. Its a typical December here in the good ol' USA.

Published
In September 2024, I got this response to a short story I submitted to a magazine. Original rejection That initial rejection hurt as much as it gave me hope. They liked it, but there were better submissions out there. That's the name of the game. It doesn't necessarily mean your work was bad; there were just pieces they liked more.

The Unlikeliest of Places to Encounter the Paranormal
When we think of haunted places, the first thing that might come to mind is an old cemetery with centuries old gravestones, the words long faded to decipher. Or we might think of an old run down house. Walk into a centuries old house and if you’re a believer in the paranormal, you might wonder if you’re sharing this house with a spirit.
