Sweet Nose Warmer, Bro!
I fully support those who use initiative and are actively attempting to provide a service for us in society through the creation of new products and inventions. But I simply cannot get on board with this. Though my nose is reduced to a red, snivelling mess quicker than the average person, the mere idea of strapping one of these abominations to my face puts my suffering sharply into perspective. My rather one-sided view may be down to it conjuring memories of the beak I wore as part of my dodo costume for a school play in my pre-teens. I still resent it for almost detracting from my wonderful performance in that Alice in Wonderland production; however, despite my personal motives, I doubt I am alone in ridiculing this latest craze.

Fashion & Fitness
Fashion and fitness—two things that are most dear to me outside of my family and friends. It’s important to understand that both have played a major role in our society, especially from the mid to late 80s to even now. Bodybuilders work in their cut sweatshirts, a way to get the best of both worlds, to sweat it out while still being cool and fashionable. The short ranger pantie style shorts show off their aesthetically built legs, paired with long old school double ribboned high socks which were the most important accessory on your feet. The most common workout sneakers were the bike track sneakers and the high top converses.

10 Avant Garde Designers You Need to Know
Avant garde designers break the rules of what clothing is supposed to be, throwing design books for beginners to the wayside as they revolutionize the industry. When done right, it should shake the world that it is commenting on, using unlikely materials and technical skill to create wearable art. To the untrained eye, the avant garde may appear to be anti-fashion; but to those in the know, it’s far ahead of the times.

Barbie on a Budget
In a world with 7 billion people, we all seek our own identity. Brands are now able to market and research fashion in order to set trends and make bold statements. With so many brands accumulating and surfacing every corner, it is hard to find one that meets your needs. To add to your worries, budget, location, and quality impact your shopping experience. It is hard to deny the universal truth that we live in a capitalist consumer-driven economy. Our society emphasizes and judges individuals through the way one identifies oneself through fashion; thus, making the cost of confidence expensive. However, there is a solution to the stress of shopping. For this reason, I must ask, do you crave to have a perfect style that everyone desires? Well, what’s stopping you! Money is no longer a worry knowing a few online shops and hacks you could apply to your wardrobe.

The Art of Thrift-Shopping. Top Story - October 2018.
Patience, Patience, Patience The first tip I can give is to go into your thrifting adventure with an open mind, and with the patience of a zen Buddha. Thrifting has a lot of misses, many more misses than hits if we are being honest. You probably won't find that amazing pair of Miu Miu heels in your size at the first Goodwill you step into. You probably won't find any Miu Miu at any Goodwill, like, ever. That being said once in a while you will find that "I can't believe this is $12.00" hidden treasure, and it will make everything worth it.

NYFW Favs and Trends
I know I’m late to write on NYFW, but bear with me, rather than reporting on the looks as they come out a la Instagram style, I like to simmer in the content and attempt to look at the week as a whole with an aerial view perspective. After just a couple days into NYFW, I already spotted some trends – Western wear perseveres, fringe has gotten a chic update, sheer silhouettes are shining through, ruffles continue to make waves, animal print is having its moment, Tevas are cool now (some would argue that they always have been), and moisturized takes on a whole new meaning.
