support
A solid support system is invaluable for one's recovery from psychiatric illness and mental health issues.
Why It Matters
One day I am casually scrolling through my Facebook feed and come across an art contest that is asking for submissions dealing with mental health awareness and suicide prevention, and submission could be art work, a short story or poetry. The word poetry sparked my interest even though I hadn’t written any poetry in a long time for this cause was near and dear to my heart, so I am confident that the subject matter would inspire me to place words on the pages of the new little black book journal that I had purchased some time ago but have never used. Now seems like the perfect time to find my favorite pen, and begin letting words spill out of my fingertips onto the pages of this journal. I mean that’s why I bought it, right?

What You can Learn from Me
If you've ever struggled with anxiety or depression, you've probably heard the term "wellness" an innumerable amount of times. As for myself, who has struggled with anxiety and depression, I've heard the term but never really knew what it meant. Wellness as in caring for myself? I had always been so caught up in my own mind that the idea confused me. For example, how could something as simple as me taking a shower somehow positively affect my mental health?

Clothes or mindset what you will change?
Eve teasing has become a focused topic in this digital world! No woman, of any age, color, character, ever deserves to be sexually violated or what some might lightly call “eve-teased”. In Bangladesh, the non-profit organization The Hunger Project found that eve-teasing not only harms women, it actually has a negative effect on human and social development. Woman is molested in India every 15 minutes & 80% cases go heard, reported but result is most of them didn’t get justice! According to BBC report, 42% of women face verbal teasing. Only 48% women are aware of existing laws & 67% of women taking measures to defend themselves. Women are not the sex object only they are human. From watchmen to policemen, everyone on the street makes women feel uncomfortable with his looks and acts.

I Don’t Feel Fully Comfortable in My Own Home
When COVID hit, we all watched our lives change dramatically. In more ways than one. Three months ago, things changed even more for my household. A good friend of ours was in a crisis situation, making his housing set-up dangerous for his safety and mental health.

Dating Someone With Depression & Anxiety Disorders
Has someone you are dating recently came out to you and said they suffer from a mental illness like: depression or bi-polar disorder and anxiety? Well, you are very luck first of all. Many people with these illnesses usually hide themselves and keep things very inward. They often wear masks out in public to cover the truth of who they are. But, once in a blue moon a person will be bold enough to trust someone to the point of being comfortable enough to remove the mask and unveil their truth.

Dear Ego, Thanks For All Your Help
I know I don't usually write, but it's important we talk. I want to be sure you're feeling recognized. By the way, I've invited Spirit to be here with me for this beautiful moment. It's nice to know we can all share this together.

Support In Recovery From Addiction
To “support” means assisting someone currently or going to help someone in the future if they become in need. Most of the time the supports are a good friend, a family member or any individual you can rely on and they will hold you accountable for maintaining your health and recovery. In recovery everyone talks about needing and having a support network and the importance of not going at life alone and not isolating.

Love and trauma
Hello friends, I also want to include people who I might never befriend as well. I'm writing this in hopes that maybe telling my story and situation leads to what my next step is. In order to understand the love and trauma, you must first take a look into my dark and ominous past. Maybe one day I'll come back and tell the full story because I might want to write a book one day.
