You’re Delusional if You Think Queer People Are Responsible for This Moral Panic
There is this tiring argument that happens on the Internet (and in real life), where whenever something bad happens —i.e., an election doesn't go well, a terrible law is passed, a court decision reverses a group's rights, etc.—people try to push the blame onto the person or group hurt.

This Anti-Trans Moral Panic Was Never About How We Define Gender
There's been a huge debate about the "transgenders" recently. I can hear the "just asking questions" starter pack now. Are trans women real women? What is gender? What is sex? Do we really need to respect these people who are changing the game on this thing that has always existed?

The Truth About the Trans-Agenda
With the Halloween season finally coming to an end, America must now prepare for the scariest season of all: Midterm Elections. The Republicans still celebrating their victory of abortion bans and the power to control over half the population on what they are allowed to do with their bodies, have continue to set the sights on the next target. Trans-rights. The reason behind the urgency to put a dead halt on Americans (particularly children) right to live authentically is to clash with the alleged “Trans-Agenda.” What is this “Trans-Agenda?”

Debuting as a queer creative writer
Intro Hi everyone! Being a debuting novelist who is also not an English speaker, I am very excited to see my first work finally being published as an ebook. As a queer person from Kazakhstan, I never could have imagined that this would be a possibility for me one day in the future. Findings professional proofreaders and editors as well as gathering feedback from my friends was a long and challenging process, even though the novella itself is rather short :) Yes, finally, it is being released and gives me some hope that I can share my story with a broader circle of the international audience.

Happy National Coming Out Day… Celebrate With Your VOTE!
We are less than a month out from the US elections on November 8, standing at the crossroads of love and fear, knowing that once again, voters will help determine whose lives matter. In my book, all of the anti-trans legislation across America should be enough to send republicans packing. But of course, that’s not the thing that’ll do it. Overturning Roe, though- seems to have sent motivation to many. Good. It’s all the same conversation, really, a political party that is trying to (continue to) legislate a sickly twisted version of Christianity onto all of us. But the cishet rank and file, unless they both know AND support a trans human, likely wouldn’t rush to the polls in any great numbers to save us.

Let's talk about Gender Appropriation
Recently, someone on the glorious world of the Internet accused me, a transgender man, of appropriating gender. Though I knew the meaning of the word appropriation, I was confused as to how it related to gender, so I found myself pages deep into the controversial topic of gender appropriation. At the basis, this person was telling me I'm pretending to be a man, while not actually being one. This is as transphobic as it is incorrect, and I'll explain why.

I Used to Dream about Him (Micro-nonfiction)
I used to dream about him. A tall, handsome stranger with strong arms to scoop me up into. He dressed smartly, smelled of cologne, wore a shiny watch and new shoes. He had a beard - always a beard. No matter how many times I imagined him over the years, in different outfits, with different body types. No matter how many times he changed - he always had a beard.

Why Netflix Should Have Never Labeled 'Dahmer' An LGBTQ+ Series
Since its debut on September 21, 2022, Ryan Murphy's latest offering on Netflix has stirred up a lot of controversy. Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story sought out to tell the story of the notorious serial killer from the perspective of the victims and, with that, tell the story from behind a lens that we haven't really seen before. Lead actor Evan Peters even said in promotional content for the series that the show wasn't even about Jeffrey Dahmer, despite his name being in the title twice.
