happy, yet angry

A light in the dark world, alone on this blue marble in space.

Is this a euphemism for desire, to see the eyes on fire?

Beyond all the physical emotions, you run around and believe love

Is truly enough.

The weight of gravity cannot comprehend your weightless misery;

So unlike smoke, flawless in its dance above.

You cannot choke on sadness; drink away the many sorrows.

Be hungover for a week, but your life has a way

Of starting over.

So turn off the lights and sleep.

For everything is a beautiful dream, full of sweet preservatives.
