Hi everyone! You may remember that I was STOKED about finally finishing my novel (I want to say my first novel, but really I have a myriad of unfinished novels). This will be my first very long FINISHED work! While I was excited to work with agents, unfortunately, that was not the roadmap for this novel, which in some ways I am grateful for and in others I am sad. Regardless, we press forward and never allow ourselves too long to mope. I have the ebook available and would LOVE if you considered buying it and rating it when you finish! I had to use a pen name due to the nature of my work!

Unofficial Challenge: See Details
I have recently watched "Heated Rivalry," and let me tell you, if you haven't, you are missing out. However, aside from this, the show brought up a question for me, multiple questions actually. The level of intimacy and love featured in the show simply burrowed into my brain and has not left me. I think about the amount of vulnerability it takes for someone to accept love the way these characters did. I eventually found myself asking questions of myself, such as "vulnerability that I am seeking, do I think I am strong enough to handle that, will I survive that devastating openness?" How destabilizing...how delicious.

"Death cannot stop true love, only delay it." – Wesley in The Princess Bride. I decided to come back to Vocal on a very cold and dark night at the end of December. I had been, and still am, convalescing from a horrible staph infection that had gone misdiagnosed for months. This, paired with the increasing challenges of being healthy, making the best choices for my co-parented child, being a wife, and being a director at a new job, was a lot to manage.

However, today I present the only thing you will need to understand a man. Luckily for us women, men are simple creatures, and for that reason, they do not even see us coming. This is an all-encompassing guide; however, there is room for customization, so please feel free to add your own flair to any of these rules as I break them down for you.
