Today,
my home is Red.
It’s not only a colour.
It oozes destruction,
yet a relief to discover.
Redemption arises in broken trust and suffering.
I still wander…
Why is this my home?
I already have one.
One I know
One of my own.
You’ll come to outgrow,
to cease all you already know.
You will find, your own way you know,
An eternal home
Well, how can this be?
Do you really think you know me?
Trials come as temptations unfold
They will never defeat your purpose
They can never stop you reaching, your forever home.
We flood our desires running straight into the unknown
We will all still fall, but eternity calls.
For that is a home to enjoy all.
My home is Red,
Like the last drop of hope.
Thorns and blood noses.
Come the day
A halo and a gateway.
Our home. Your way.
