A Bond Beyond Romance
Non-Romantic Love
In quiet moments, we find our space,
A love that doesn’t rush or race.
No hearts aflame, no stolen kiss,
But still, a bond that’s filled with bliss.
Through laughter shared and tears held tight,
We walk together, day and night.
No need for words to understand,
We hold each other’s steady hand.
In simple joys, we find our peace,
A love that offers sweet release.
No need for grand or lofty claims,
For in our hearts, it stays the same.
No romance fuels the path we take,
But love that only time can make.
A friendship pure, forever true,
In every step, I walk with you.

Books, movies, TV shows, comics... they're finally catching on that LGBTQ+ people form a significant part of their audience, and deserve to see themselves on screen and in fiction, not just as victims in documentaries and true crime shows.
