dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
Food for dogs
Hands up if you have a dog. For a long time, I wish I had my hand up with this crowd. Then there was a time when I accepted that I wouldn't get one, and that was okay with me. So, I hadn't had a dog before this year. I always wanted a pal, but it just hadn't worked out before. The reasoning was nobody would walk, feed, bathe him/her etc. I didn't grow up with a dog as much as I wanted to have that happen. I would go over to friends' houses and meet their dogs, and my father even had dogs himself when he was younger. Some friends said dogs were fun, others said not again. I just wanted to make that choice on my own and face reality and difficulty through my personal experience. I had heard stories from other people and I thought I was ready. What happens in life is, you're either ready or not. And when you desire something, even if you do everything right, it leads to nothing. We have to learn that we can't do everything right - we can't control everything. This makes us upset and frustrated at times. Experience teaches us lessons, but I've learned to be ready for any moment and accept when I need to move on. I can't stay upbeat and happy if I'm always sticking to a petty thing or a fairy tale. That's not to say we shouldn't chase your dreams, but I'll save that for another day.

Xoloitzcuintle
Last summer I visited a virgin beach down in Mexico for my cousin's birthday; it was a good time. I was swimming in the sea when something caught my eye back at the shore, it was a dog, but it wasn’t the typical dog. I was looking at a Xoloitzcuintli (the one in the picture), rapidly I rushed to the shore to take a closer look at this magisterial dog.

Man's Best Friend:
When discussing mental health, it’s been suggested that being around our favorite furry friends helps release the ‘happy hormone’ inside our heads that make us feel, well, happy! As far back as humans can remember, the unconditional love we show our pets has been written and spoken about.

Cai, did you really buy a Husky for $50? Yes, yes I did.
I guess i'll start from the beginning. On snapchat I saw a mutual friend post a picture of a sweet furry critter. To be more specific, a 3 month old baby Husky. On the picture it said "In need of a new home! My owner is moving away and needs a loving new family. Can discuss price if you are interested!". Who knows if I was feeling extra sensitive that day, or if my puppy urges were at an all time high - nonetheless I swiped up and asked "how much?". To give a brief description of where I was at in life, I was working a 9-5 full time job where pets were welcomed at all times. In my mind I thought well this would be amazing to have a best friend for life whom I can spend all day with and take to work. In my heart I felt ready to take on this big responsibility (or so I thought) and decided now was the right time to finally get a puppy. I was also living in an apartment with a roommate who gladly volunteered to pick the puppy up with me. My roomie was on board, I was finally getting a puppy, everything seemed right in the world! After getting supplies and preparing to welcome my new baby, the "owner" said okay how about $50 for the Husky and you pick him up tonight.

Rascal And Zoey
Did you ever wonder if your dogs could really talk. Well I have had dogs all my life and I actually believe that some of them were more talented than others. I currently own Rascal and Zoey. Rascal is a little fifteen pound Yorkie and Zoey is a sixty five pound Goldendoodle. I haven’t really put my foot on if Zoey can talk but I definitely believe that Rascal can. Rascal is a rescue pup and he looked like he was the smartest one out of the whole litter. I had a feeling about him early on.
