LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION!
"What should I wear so that they will accept me?" "How should I wear my hair? I'm sure they'll want me now." "Maybe this post will make me look like I'm doing better." The truth is... We've all been through this at some point of our lives. Whether it's now or in the past, we've all wanted to be accepted, liked by someone we like, or just simply loved by those around us. For me, it was "maybe if I never make a mistake playing music, I'll be accepted and people will always want me to be a part of they're project." Although in most cases that is a true statement (because who wants someone that messes up all the time), if we're not careful, that ambition that was once so unsophisticated and sinless turns everything sour. Your demeanor turns sour, your smile is sour, your words are sour, and your presence in a room is sour. So even though you look good on the outside and sound good, what do you think you're releasing in a room? Here's a better question for you... What happens when the lights are turned off, the cameras are turned off, and there's no need to deliver?

Bell lets talk
Bell, let’s frickin talk Mental illness is real. I’ve battled everyday with depression and anxiety. When you’re young, you go through so many different things, like getting your heart broken, friend break ups, family drama and everything in between. It can be so lovely, but also so overwhelming and things can creep up on you so quickly. When i was as young as 5 i was always told i was so shy, i would panic about a presentation in class for months before it happened, my heart always raced and i got so uncomfortable speaking to anyone, and I would constantly hide behind my parents, heck, i still do that sometimes. When i was 16 i realized that what I have is social anxiety, i started piecing everything together and told my shitty therapist at the time that i had it and she fully agreed.

Past is a golden memory
People tend to hate talking about their past a lot. Even the darker moments are something to be proud of because we have become the person we are today. People tend to think that talking about difficult times is a sign as if you are suffering just by speaking about it. Every moment is a step that you have accomplished and that is why I’m writing about it. All memories and moments in your life matter: either the nice or the worst ones are important.

I hope there will be clowns?
It's easy to understand the question when you know it's origin. In your mind you know, this is huge! The step you are taking is the single most scary, wonderful, confusing thing you have ever done in your life. When you were deciding to get up the courage to walk out this mandate on your life, you were saying to yourself...

its all about you
This piece could go in a few places as it covers a few subjects. Its born from mental health and it could be an unpopular opinion , but here it is in motivation territory. I have learned over time that the there is only one person you need to put above all others, one person that deserves your full respect and one person that you should love and cherish above all others.

My mind is active but my body is tired.. Backstory: I'm currently receiving ongoing treatment for a bladder condition (there's no diagnosis yet but the symptoms are similar to Interstitial Cystitis) and this has been ongoing for almost 8 years.

The New Female Inspiration
There’re women you look up to, and then women you want to be. And sometimes these women are one and the same. As a young girl, I was always looking toward the women in my life, always trying to figure out how they achieved what they did. How they managed to look so put together amongst the chaos. I would push my hair into a messy pony tail and wonder why they were prettier than I was. Wonder how they smothered that makeup on their cheeks and made me feel inferior. How I couldn’t manage to create that line on my lid no matter how hard I tried. I would put these women on a pedestal, high above me, untouchable.

No One Tells Us Just How Painful Certain Phases Of Our Lives Will Be
There are periods of life that feel horrible. I think most of us at some point go through at least one period like this. This can ring true the older we get and the more situations and people we encounter. As much as we try to discard the emotions and pretend they aren’t there, they roar with a furry and distort our life outlook. We think we are tougher than what life is throwing at us, but we succumb to the pain.

I 4got How 2 Breathe
It has been half-a-century and you’d have thought by now I knew how to do this shit! I mean, seriously people, don’t agree that by the age of 50 you should have a TON of common sense shit figured out, right? That’s what I thought until this very moment as I sit here and type this to you on the third day of March of the year 2020, I forgot how to BREATHE…………….
