Where Were You Last Year? Pt. 1
Sometimes, I just think about what I was doing on this day, last year. It's interesting to try and think back to this day last year. What were you doing? Where did you go? Who were you friends with at the time? What did you do leading up to this very special day? How was your life at the time? How is it different now?

Fear
Fear. Everyone has one. Some may say they don’t, but in truth, everyone has a fear. I have multiple fears. I have a fear of spiders. A fear of snakes. I have a fear of singing in front of people. Otherwise known as stage fright. I have a fear of being rejected. Although I think everyone has the fear of being rejected. I have a fear of being hurt by someone I have fallen in love with. Again, I believe everyone has this fear. Fear is something that is a constant thing in some people’s life. You never know when you won’t have any time left to do anything. So, do all that you can. Use that fear to push yourself to do things you are scared of. Like for me, even though I am scared of singing in front of people, I have started to record myself singing with songs. I will put them with a video of pictures then post them online. Another thing I am doing is going live on live.me and singing. So far, people have been kind. They haven’t said anything bad. In the past there have been people who have said bad things. But I ignore them and keep doing it. I am scared of being rejected by someone I have fallen in love with. I have actually fallen for this guy and I am so scared that he is going to reject me. I mean why wouldn’t he? He can find someone better than me.

Blessed and Fortunate
Growing up as a little girl, there's always something important to you, whether it's your pink bow tied dress or your fluffy white socks. My name meant the world to me. The origin of Fartun came from the word Fortunate, which means lucky in Italian. It was a part of who I was, and it still is. I was always being tyrannized because of my name. There were times in my life when I wanted to change my name or at least change the spelling, yet my name is extremely valuable to me, My great-grandmother gave it to me. But I was unsatisfied with my tag, because of the way it was pronounced. There were couple of years in elementary school that I was bullied. The fifth grade was the most excruciating school year. A classmate of mine would always call me “Fart-Tune. She has a Fart in her Tune.” I would laugh on in the outside but slowly break down in the inside. My name was my identity, it showed others where I came from, and it also described my personality.

5 Jonathan Van Ness Quotes to Get You Through the Day
Jonathan Van Ness is the grooming queen of Queer Eye's fab five, and we all wish he was our best friend, not only because he'd totally glam us up but also because everything he says is both iconic and real AF. He’s also so much more than just the grooming member of the team. I feel he goes a long way in teaching the people they help on the show, and us, about the importance of self-care and how it important it is for our health and well-being. With that said, here are just a few things he's said to give you a little motivation today and hopefully make you smile.

You Have Got to Love Yourself
I am 22 years old with a bachelor's degree under my belt from one of the most distinguished universities in America. I graduated with a 3.92 GPA and concrete plans of immediately continuing on with my education to pursue my master's degree. A few weeks before the application deadline for graduate school, I realized I had not even begun to fill it out. This was highly unlike me, as I have always been motivated to achieve what I want, and it hit me that perhaps this meant that wasn't what I really wanted. As the deadline continued to approach, I became even less intrigued at the idea of going. However, pursuing a full-time job did not intrigue me either, and not because I was not willing to work, but because the idea of settling into a less-than-ideal career that did not leave me oozing with passion at the end of the day sounded terribly dreadful. The deadline eventually passed, and I continued on with my previous part-time job.

Things We Didn't Learn in School
Things we didn't learn in school... "A lot" is two words. It's not one. Your job title doesn't define who you are. Most people go into careers that they don't truly enjoy just to make good money. Many people become attached to their job title, thinking their job title determines who they are. However, you are much more than the job you hold. A job title doesn't even begin to describe your true identity. It literally just tells other idiots what you do to make an income. Your character does a much better job of portraying who you are.

Vague Background Story
I like to believe that everything in life happens for a reason. I grew up in somewhat of a religious household, so believing there was a bigger being with a plan was part of life. However, that's not exactly how I see it. I think that every action has a reaction, as in, what goes around comes around. Whether it was in a past life or current life, it will all come back. I'm not extremely religious, but then again most Millennials aren't. I believe that karma is most definitely a bitch, and she will most definitely get you back.

The Houses of the Zodiac: House #3
Do you know what your birth chart says? Or, do you even know what a birth chart is? Your birth chart is based off of the time, location, and date of your birth. At the time when you were born, every planet and star and thing up there in the universe was in a specific place. Doesn't seem like it matters, but it absolutely does. Your birth chart displays where all those planets and stuff were, and this contributes to the magic that is your personality.
