Let's Talk About Stress
Stress, a silent killer, a robber of time and peace of mind. Everyone at some point in their lives have felt stress and had reaped the benefits of what it does to the body. We also know there are a million different ways documented to deal with stress. Candle lit baths, yoga, meditation, medication, working out, reading a book, the list goes on and on. Now in this article I won’t give you the cure all for stress but I pose to give a different perspective on the subject. For me I am in a constant state of stress because of how I grew up, sadly due to growing up this way my mind does not recognize stress properly and my body has to tell me when I am under too much stress. I get eczema breakouts, I get acne, canker sores, I will lose my appetite, I won't sleep, etc. I do have something things that help calm me down when I notice my body giving me these signs but they don’t always work. We all have heard that lavender is supposed to help greatly with stress and anxiety and it does but for me I find sandalwood to be far more relaxing. I have a favorite tea blend that helps calm my nerves, a hiking trail, friends to talk to, and a work out routine. Sometimes these things work well to help relieve stress but then there's the times when it doesn’t work at all. Everything we do and everything we are is energy. Love, hate, sadness, anxiety, and stress is all energy. It is energy sent, received, and stored.

Synchronicity Numbers - 11:11 and more
The synchronicity phenomenon has been called many things; "meaningful coincidence", a paranormal event, angel numbers, the universe speaking to us, pseudoscience, and the list goes on. Swiss Psychologist Carl Jung brought the concept of synchronicity to our attention as a phenomenon of energy with noncausal events in his work Synchronicity: An Acausal Connecting Principle (1952). It's opened up many theoretical debates and while those arguments still go on today, people are still claiming to experiencing synchronicity. You wouldn't be reading this if you weren't experiencing it yourself or were at least curious what the "meaning" of it all entails.

The Top 6 Crystals You Need For Protection and Healing
I love crystals and gemstones. Over the last year, I've became pretty obsessed with them. I started reading books that talked about history, the use of crystals and how important they were. I used to think it was all made up and just some hippy dippy thing; until I got into it of course. Using crystals has changed my life for the better, to be honest. Here are my top 5 crystals I would suggest using for protection and healing.

Mirror Dragon Weekly Reading #1 2020
The Center card this week is the 3 of Cups. This three symbolizes friendship, connection, comfort and the abundance we find in enjoying the good things we have in our lives from the simplest glimpse of a bright star, on an otherwise cloudy night to the kiss of a puppy with a warm wet tongue or the brilliance of pride in a child’s first steps, we are acutely aware of the beauty and bounty that surrounds us. When we revel in the pleasure of easy conversation, and the comfortable closeness of an old friendship or a strong emotional bond we find a matching comfort in the freedom to just be ourselves. I read once that a friend who sees you in distress says, “I feel for you” a good friend sees you in distress and asks, “is there anything I can do for you?” and a best friend sees clearly what’s going on and says, “stay down, I got this!” With this three at the center we have that feeling of camaraderie we experience when we know there's someone who’s got our back and the strength to know we can be that best friend if the need arises.

Mirror Dragon Tarot (part 18)
The Center card this week is the 2 of Swords. This two looks at our ability to unite the heart and mind in balance and harmony. Having aired, discussed, or at least acknowledged, the differences we encounter between our own thoughts and viewpoints and those of the people around us we find ourselves more able to understand and accept the input of others. Recently we’ve become aware of our power to create what we imagine. We see that our thoughts and choices do become our reality and now we’re dealing with what we chose. As is often the case, the left-brain, linear mind wants to hold on to tried and true, logical progression and outcome, no matter what anyone else thinks. With this influence, however by attuning to our softer, gentler heart/soul connection we find a way to balance both. As the lotus in the center of this card shows our ability to create that bridge between reason and understanding, so too can we balance intellect and compassion in our daily interactions. The trick is to meet in the middle.
