Nutrients for Period Pain
Aside from the actual bleeding that occurs during menstruation, I would argue that the worst part about periods isn’t always the tiredness or even the grumpiness. I stand by the statement that pain during periods is the absolute worst part of periods. Think about it: having a duration of time where you’re a little more tired and maybe a little more snarky than usual, without feeling like you’re going to keel over from pain? Infinitely better.

C.A.L.M
I learned this trick from Jane the Virgin and loved it. When Jane was feeling really frustrated or upset, her grandmother told her to remain CALM. Thinking of things that keep me calm. Because what a neat trick.

10 Tips for your Twenties
1. Wear Sunsreen Wear sunscreen. Always. ALWAYS. Just do it. Wear sunscreen. You don’t have to go out of your way to be tan. It does feel great to absorb that vitamin D, but…wear sunscreen. Protect your skin. Sun exposure is known to cause visible signs of aging and skin cancer. I got a bunch of new freckles and random new moles. This totally might have happened either way, but just in case it’s from the sun….wear sunscreen. Make sure to get your face and the backs of your hands.
