Basic to Bikini: Week four - fear of failure
I stepped on the scales again for my weekly check-in, sure that I had lost more weight. I felt lighter, I had noticed obvious changes in my body composition, I stuck to my diet, but I was surprised when I saw my weight had increased. How is that possible? I thought. I’ve done so well this week. What if I can’t do this? What if I can’t lose that much body fat? I’ll let down so many people: myself, my coach, family and friends. The fear of failing had never been so strong. Was I catastrophising? 100% but that’s what fear does. It makes you think of every worst possible – sometimes impossible – scenario.

What To Do After Flat Feet Surgery?
I am back on track writing about this article. In the past, I’ve been having writer’s block for about 5 months. Did you think I’ve almost given up writing more blog tips on flat feet? I was lost in my own world. I was taking care of my own issues. In January, 2020, I pushed myself to write this article on paper. Did not get the chance to type it up. I started to get sick on Chinese New Years. I was miserable with the cold. During this month of February, 2020. Issues were stirring up from my last lousy past relationship. Today, I decided to move forward. Last week, one of my friends inspired me to keep writing. I told him about my writer's block situation and what was going on. He’s a great listener and we joke a lot of times. I just want to thank Ryan for being there for me. I am glad some of my issues are resolved.

Urgency or Emergency?
Something happens. An accident. A sudden onset of seemingly serious symptoms. Whether that something happens to you, to one of your children, to an elderly parent, or even to a coworker or customer where you work, you need to make an important medical decision either with them - or in many cases, for them. You are the first line of triage, and you have to decide what the first response should be to their medical condition. Should you call 911? Should you take them to the Emergency Room, or to an urgent care clinic? The decision you make could have wide-ranging - and long-standing - impact on their physical and their financial health.
