Chaotic Peace
The spelling of the word “chaos” insinuates its meaning better than any definition ever could. The first two letters refuse to follow their rule, ignoring the “ch” sound we expect to hear in words like chicken, challenge, or choice. It's followed by an “a” and an “o,” which creates a hard vowel sound without any hint of an “e." The only player that seems to do its job correctly is the “s."

Customer Segmentation using k-prototypes algorithm
Why do we need to segment the market? Whether real or perceived, customers have a wide range of demands and preferences, which is a fundamental assumption. Consider how much research, trial and error, and peer reviews you undergo before purchasing any product. The 7-Day Workweek
How to Pitch a 4-Day Workweek to Your BossAnd how to make the most of that extra dayforge.medium.com I have seen several articles like the one linked above describing how one can go about bargaining with their workplace for a shortened workweek. While I take no issue with the desire to “work” less, I dislike the dichotomy it implies between “work” and everything else in one’s life. For myself, and no doubt for a great many others the differentiation between work and home has become so blurred as to be almost meaningless. I do have an office at my workplace and I also have a lab. I also have an office at home. As a research scientist I don’t believe I could ever fully abandon a workspace because of this need for a laboratory. Despite what so called “biohackers” might have to say about it, building a lab in your garage or basement will never approach the level of sophistication of anything you will see in a fully stocked corporate or academic research laboratory. So, for me at least, there will likely never come a time when I could disconnect entirely from a physical workspace.

Scribble
I’m passionate about books; I love to read them, and – one day soon – I would love to write them. I read like a ravished squirrel foraging food in an endless forest. My challenge is to be more discerning when endless material is available: books, websites, social media, news feeds, headlines. Infinite choices lead to information bloat – stories of good things, bad things, all things: success-related, fear-related, sensational, news-worthy, trashy, gossipy, and the like. I’d like to change that – to add, not subtract from the literary world.
