Art Is My Past and Future
I am an artist. Art is within every aspect of life. From the moment the sun shines through my window blinds until the moon appears in the night. Art is ubiquitous to me. I want to use the world's natural produced artistry to create an impression to my viewers of the broad view. I want to be an influencer of the youth and the mature. Create material that shows insight into different cultures and brings them together. In time generational differences have kept mankind separated in society. Caused individuals to believe their similarities can not correlate or interact with one another without conflict. That is far from the truth to me. As an artist, I want to create media visuals and audio displays that detail my creativity. I do this to emphatically influence communities by bringing everyone together. Yes, people are individuals. We are all one.

My Dream
I have always been happy and comfortable when creating. It is my comfort, my safety, and all I ever want to do. As I pour my hopes and dreams into this little black book, I know that feeling may never change. The drawing slowly manifests on the page, taking my very soul with it. For not only do I want this piece to surpass all I have done before, but I need it to surpass what all others have done before. Or, at the very least, surpass all my competition in this art contest. After all, this could be an extraordinarily important step in making my life my own and securing the future that I want.

Blending Timeless Architectural Grandeur to Modern Lifestyles
Vaults are one of the most ancient techniques for creating shelters. Dating back to egyptian times, vaults were one of the most fundamental forms of architecture. Truest to their form and nature, vaulted roofs throughout the architectural history have been used to shelter; from the most humble dwellings to the buildings of highest prominence. It has evolved as an element and has continued its existence throughout history by taking many shapes and forms. Due to limited knowledge of material sciences and construction technologies, creating vaults and domes was one of the only ways to create shelters and roofing structures. However, in the modern times, with the advent of modern industrial materials it is no more a neccessity. Rather it has now evolved as a symbol of the vast Architectural Heritage. Vault house is the project that celebrates this architectural symbol in its Truest and Purest Form!

Down, Below
It fell out of the damp cavity between the case and the wall. Sawdust and bits of calcified paper coughed out of the gap, raining onto the cement ground in the basement. I panicked. This would not look good on the condition report. Dusting the debris from its cover – it felt smoothed and compact in my hand, as if it had previously been thumbed through often but was now cold, compressed by abandonment – I set it aside to check the painting. A pair of eyes, black as buttons, stared through the torn bubble wrap, vaguely irritated by my error. I could see no real change to its frame, except perhaps a small tidemark of mildew from where the book had fallen. The tape holding the tissue paper in place had ripped, and the entire piece would have to be re-wrapped. I decided I might as well make a start, and propped it back against the wall, face-to-face with those unblinking eyes.

Figuring out art
The first thing you need to know about me is, I'm not good at art. Both my sister and my mother have always been good at painting, drawing, and crafts in general. But for me, lets just say its never come easy. A long time ago my mother tried teaching me how to draw. After a few hours of drawing, erasing, and redrawing; all I had was a barley recognizable cat. I was so hurt by my horrible first attempt that I actually stopped trying for a while. A few years later I tried leaning from an online art program. I found it very confusing but kept at it. After about a month my "cat?" has turned into a slightly more recognizable cat. I was so angry with my lack of talent while my older sister just did a good job without even trying. So after a few years of honestly just giving up, I thought I would just attempt to teach myself. I mean there was no way I could get worse.
