Child's Play
If I knew what would occur in such a short space of time, I would never have been so compliant with the idea. My name is Sam and I am the leader of the Purple Hand Gang. From what started out as a utopian society of clockwork efficiency soon aroused deep seeded divisions. Egos collided, emotions rose, people got called dickheads.

I Became a 'Sun Girl'. What Followed Haunts Me Till Today.
Page 3 of The Sun Newspaper. I always enjoyed looking at that page. It was the page allotted to Sun’s Weekly “Sun Girl”. When I got very broke around 2014 and I had no money, I found myself doing a lot of things that I swore I wouldn’t do. It's very easy to say what you will and won’t do for money when you live in abundance. Once that abundance is gone, my sister, you will very quickly learn that maybe there’s a whole lot of things you are actually willing to do. I started out doing noble hustles: I cleaned, I scrubbed, I cooked, I baked, I did it all. Until one day, one of my colleagues, a fellow server at the restaurant I served at started gisting me about how she makes money on the side.

The Reckoning
The yellow flames swirled around the blackening embers. They intertwined as they engulfed the coal completely. Fred’s eyes were fixed on the dancing flames as he mused, sipping his tea in his armchair. After Salim’s death that night, he had known the story was not over. He had anticipated consequences. He had warned the others. Then the first note came some days later. It was followed by another. Then another. In the month after Salim’s death five notes altogether had been posted to them. Fred had waited for the impending knock on the door from the police.

He glanced outside where the children and Saira were crouched, playing in the garden. A gentle breeze blew across the open expanse. The thin blades of grass wavered in the wind.

The Reckoning
Greg sat still in the train. He stared out, his eyes focused on the green hills which rolled into each other as the rain lashed against the glass window. Rain burst forth from the black clouds. It felt like the biting wind from outside had cascaded into the train carriage. Greg shivered. His right hand tightened around the lapels of his long black coat as he wrapped it close to his body.

The I.M.
I rest my elbow on the windowsill. It’s pouring outside, and my screen is open. I wish I could go outside. But the invisible bars are keeping me in. Actually, there are no invisible bars, but I’d rather not go outside. The invisible monster is devouring humanity. Sounds crazy, huh? The crazier thing is, some people think they are invincible (well, the young ones are) and some invite it without realizing it. When I look through the window, the streets are deserted despite how cool they are.
