The Dangerous Investment of Being Real
How to Avoid Being Real with Others From a young age, I've felt that there are two worlds that we exist in: the place that "exists in us," which is our very private and unique place called "the mind," "the brain," or "our inner world"; and the place that "we exist in," which is the more public and shared place called "reality," "the exterior," or "the outside world."

Undeserving Love
When we’re little we foresee our adult life being quite picture perfect. You know someday you’ll fall in love and meet the person you are just destined to be with. There may or may not be a white horse sort of speak. However, when we grow to be older and start maneuvering through the wonderful world of dating, we soon figure that there are different kinds of love. Practical, head over heels, predictable, deep, undeniable, and well... toxic. We were never prepared for toxic love. Speak Softly and with Purpose
How we speak to people says a lot about us and nothing about them. If you’re loud and bellowing, then that shows you lack self-control and are only seeking a confrontation and not a solution. If you are shy and soft-spoken, you are viewed as someone who is weak and not to be taken seriously. When speaking with others, it is important to convey yourself in a manner that says, “hey, this is important to me,” but that also isn’t threatening or domineering.

I actually have very little standards for dudes that I date. Just the bare basics such as human decency. Respect. Confidentiality.
