Dating, married, single, divorced, and more. Advice on the relationships you have in life. Dear, Humans..
Let's fucking date!
If you asked me years ago when I was writing about fashion and runway shows the least likely topic I would find myself penning, I can likely say this would be among them. I don’t think anyone plans to get divorced. I know I didn’t. I am loyal, trusting, a homemaker from a place of heart, and a communicator. Really, there are very few issues (to an idealistic girl in her 20s) that could not be worked through. Every problem has a solution! Until it doesn’t. But let’s get back on topic. Fucking dating.

You Learn More By Listening Than You Do By Talking
I never knew my grandparents very well, and I never met my great grandparents, but I have heard the stories of their lives often enough to feel a bond with each one of them. Many times, my mother told me the story of her Cherokee grandmother. She knew the exact day she would die, and she called all her children and grandchildren into the room for a final talk.

Love
Love is a lot of things. Love can be a light, that makes you get butterflies in your stomach. It can make you smile the moment you wake up to when you fall back asleep and it makes you think positive about anything. Love can also be a darkness, that gets in your mind and eats at you. It can make you go mad with tears to the point where icecream and chocolate is just not enough. Love is confusing, but it can take a lot of turns.

Guys women want this.
Okay, guys here is a little friendly advice. Women actually like gentlemen. So, opening doors and pulling out chairs for them to sit is one thing. I am talking about the works. Like waking her up with breakfast or when you're around your buddies and she looks kinda lost pull her close and just give her a little wink for encouragement. Tell her she is beautiful at least once a day. Let her know you really care. Offer to help with the dishes. Take her out on a Tuesday just because. Give her hugs and spoil her with kisses and affection.

A Long Term Relationship Is...
Let me get all the facts out there first - so you don't feel 'jaded' or 'tricked' when you read this whole thing. There are no books out there that will truly tell YOU how to handle YOUR relationship. You'll find more luck perusing the internet feeds from a standpoint of relationship advice, and probably find them more current than any book you'd be recommended to. And, to compare your relationship to others is probably not the best action to take, but it's one that makes sense when you start thinking yours is in trouble or shaky or whatever other words "fits" the scenario for you. It's possibly even all a play on words or maybe just a diatribe making the author feel better at the moment they wrote it.
