The Unlikeliest of Places to Encounter the Paranormal. Top Story - December 2025.
When we think of haunted places, the first thing that might come to mind is an old cemetery with centuries old gravestones, the words long faded to decipher. Or we might think of an old run down house. Walk into a centuries old house and if you’re a believer in the paranormal, you might wonder if you’re sharing this house with a spirit.

The Body Exchange Ritual
At night, the only light leaking from the windows of Mr. Bedri’s mansion was the dim lamp of his study. He felt the weight of his ninety-five years in his bones, in the muscles that had softened like rotting apples. The reflection in the mirror was repulsive: sunken cheeks, sagging skin, cloudy eyes.

Ghost Hunting in Your Pocket: The Coolest Apps for Amateur Paranormal Adventures. Content Warning.
Do you ever watch those creepy ghost-hunting shows on TV? I have to admit, I can watch them, but only because they really creep me out. There’s something fascinating about haunted places, especially castles, with their mysterious aura and dark history. But let’s be honest: ghost hunters are often asking for trouble. I’m no paranormal expert, but if I know a place is haunted, I’m getting the heck out of there. Some of you might feel differently, or even dream of becoming ghost hunters yourselves, and if that’s the case, here’s the good news: all you really need now is your smartphone.

Evil Dolls, Cursed Paintings & Haunted Mirrors: The Strangest Objects You’ll Never Want in Your House
The Unexpected World of Haunted… Stuff When most of us think “haunted,” we picture dark hallways, creaky staircases, and centuries-old castles inhabited by some pale lady floating around in a white dress. 60 Days in a Haunted Lighthouse? One Man’s Insane, or Brave, Adventure
If you’ve seen any of my ghost videos, you know I have a very clear policy: haunted places are not my thing. I wouldn’t step foot in one unless it’s broad daylight, I’m in a group of at least 50 people, there are absolutely no kids, and maybe, just maybe, I’m carrying a battering ram and a chainsaw. Why the chainsaw, you ask? Well, in every horror movie ever, ghosts have a habit of locking people in, and apparently, doors just refuse to break down when there’s a spirit involved.

THE FIVE DOORS THAT NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN OPENED
~By Caelum, Night Archivist of the Veil~ Most cops think the worst thing you can find at a crime scene is blood. They’re wrong... The worst thing is a question. A question with teeth. A question that refuses to let you sleep. Some cases don’t end when you file the report. They stay with you. They lean over your bed at night. They breathe behind you in empty rooms.

No Welcome Home?
It had been several weeks. Thank God the monster goddess has not come, as she promised. She probably knew she wouldn't be welcome. In the meantime Ivory and I began to get along very well. She was a good girl, just about a woman, with a good sense of humor. She had many friends on this small island nation…some human and some not. I didn’t have the nerve to ask which was which because I didn’t want to know. I had come here to escape all of the news and confusion and it was working.
