The Cult
There is a group of people who no longer know what civilization was like. They had chosen to venture out into the woods, to follow that voice that called to them, asking for an army to build. They gave in, each of them possessing an unknown darkness that hid within them. They were afraid to touch this part of themselves, but the voice claimed that they would be welcomed with open arms, into a fold where they would no longer feel alone.

We are Getting our First AI Television Show and it Looks Awful
I thought this announcement was a joke, until I saw the huge trend online about this random trailer. We are getting our first AI television show, that is going to be based on the history of our Founding Fathers, all the way back in 1776. What's even crazier, is that the director who was responsible for this atrocity was the same guy who directed fantastic films, like Requiem for a Dream, Caught Stealing, and one of my favorite psychological horror films, The Black Swan.

The Thing by the Window
Richard was sitting by his friend, as he slept in the guest room. This time, he didn't want to leave his side. Whatever had happened earlier, he was going to make sure that Eddie was there with him. Surely there was some kind of logical explanation for the other Eddie he had seen. Richard believed that perhaps he was getting Eddie's crazy, but how could he rationalize that full on conversation he had with his friend?

The Rot & Ruin Zombie Series Features Despicable Villains that Will Get Under Your Skin
I feel that the Rot & Ruin book series written by Jonathan Maberry is one of the best zombie stories ever made. This is kind of like another version to the franchise of 28 Days Later, but instead, we follow the story of 4 kids who are thrown into the zombie apocalypse. I thought the series was going to be mainly for teenagers to become interested in, but the author throws a huge curveball, by focusing on young adult audiences instead.

I Prefer Making Longer YouTube Videos for My Horror Channel
I have learned something about myself during my YouTube journey so far in 2026. I think I like to work on longer videos for the channel. I recently finished uploading my longest YouTube video, that took about two hours to edit and publish on YouTube. I also had a lot of fun making the thumbnail for the video, because I did not want to use a random picture that had already been uploaded to Google by someone that most likely made it.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a Worthy Addition to the Franchise
I never thought we would ever get a great Indiana Jones story again. After the last two films didn't do so hot with fans, I thought that would be it for the franchise entirely. Then I was shocked to learn about a new story being added to the franchise, a videogame that features Troy Baker as Indiana Jones. I had some doubts about Troy Baker playing such an iconic character, but I found myself impressed with how well he was able to pull of Harrison Ford's voice.

Why the First Silent Hill Movie is Loved by Fans of the Franchise
While I'm still trying to get over the utter failure of Return to Silent Hill, at least I have the first film, that I can always return to. This was made by the same director who made Return to Silent Hill, (I don't know how he messed up this movie so bad, compared to the first one), and this film feels just like the Silent Hill games that fans love.

Send Help is an Entertaining Gore Bath that Subverts Expectations
I think this is going to be one of the most unique and surprising horror films to be released in 2026. It has literally been almost two decades since Sam Raimi made another horror film this intense, and wow, he did not disappoint! I was so glad that I went to check out the early prescreening to the film, the story took so many twists and turns that I did not see coming!

Mary: An Awakening of Terror is One of the Best Horror Novels I Have Read in Years
I don't normally write a separate article about books anymore, but I felt that this book deserves to be discussed. I never thought in a million years that I would find another PERFECT horror novel, that I would consider one of the best horror stories ever written. For me personally, The Season of Passage written by Christopher Pike is my most favorite horror book ever written, and I think Mary: An Awakening of Terror is a close second.

Midsommar, one of the craziest horror films that involve a deadly cult popped into my head recently, all because of one thing that baffled me. Sure, the entire film was an unexpected roller coaster, but I could not get over the fact of how dumb the main cast in the movie was.

The Thing in the Woods
Eddie was sitting in front of the television, eating a bowl of cereal. He had woken up at a quarter past twelve, and did not get enough sleep. He was staring at the weatherman, but it appeared that Eddie was staring off into nothing. If the screen only had television static, Richard doesn't think it would have made much of a difference to Eddie. His world had been shattered in now one month, and his head was going to take to impossible places that Richard was scared to venture into.
