We are Getting our First AI Television Show and it Looks Awful

What the hell is Hollywood thinking???

I thought this announcement was a joke, until I saw the huge trend online about this random trailer. We are getting our first AI television show, that is going to be based on the history of our Founding Fathers, all the way back in 1776. What's even crazier, is that the director who was responsible for this atrocity was the same guy who directed fantastic films, like Requiem for a Dream, Caught Stealing, and one of my favorite psychological horror films, The Black Swan.

I question how this director went from making masterpieces to taking shortcuts with technology that shouldn't exist. This is a huge insult to the craft of making a film. Doing a project like this is proving to the art of Hollywood that there will be a day where actors or writers will no longer be needed…and people with common sense are trying to prevent that.

I don't understand why this great director decided to go down this path. He is a damn good director, that is literally throwing away his career down the drain. I never thought in a million years this guy would give in to AI, but I guess the thought of saving money for your 'fake movie,' is more important than making a masterpiece that people will want to watch.

I struggled to even watch the trailer, because it looked so uncanny. The image above is an actual scene from the trailer, and it looks so off. It's freaking obvious that these things aren't people, and yes, the 'people' in the trailer are going to be voiced by real voice actors, but that doesn't take away from why this is so bad for the Hollywood industry.

It does not look natural for shit, and I'm so glad to see that many people online are also not happy with this news.

This is one of the few trailers that I have seen get such negative feedback online, and I hope it stays that way. We humans need to keep the magic of filmmaking alive, including other arts that are associated with the world of Hollywood. Late Night with the Devil was another horror movie that introduced AI in a brief scene, and I was one of the few that didn't see the big deal at first, but now I finally understand why AI freaking sucks.

AI is going to erase us humans, and possibly millions of jobs in the Hollywood industry. I never thought in a million years that actors would be in danger of losing their jobs, and that is INSANE that even they would be targeted by the horrors of AI.

Whoever is in charge of Hollywood behind the scenes are greedy assholes.

It is just seen as an easy shortcut to avoid great writers, actors, hell, can you even call yourself a director for wanting to make a piece of shit like this???

I don't like to be so negative when it comes to stuff like this, but THIS IS NOT ART.

AI IS NOT ART.

IT'S A SHORTCUT TO CUT DOWN ON MONEY TO SPEND ON ACTUAL FILMMAKERS, WRITERS, AND ACTORS.

In this case, Hollywood needs to get over themselves. Once AI is introduced, we will lose that magic of watching movies. They will single handedly destroy their own industry.

I'd rather watch a television series of the history of our Founding Fathers, with actual PRODUCTION sets, REAL actors, and with a director who actually gives a DAMN.

AI SHOULD NOT EXIST. IT SHOULD NEVER EXIST. IT DOES NOT BELONG. AND WE MUST KEEP IT THAT WAY.
