Nonetheless, as an avid reader, I felt the heinous ordeal more in my heart reading Anne Frank’s diary than in my unexplored ancestry. Being a similar age to Frank and having a vivid imagination, I emphasized by dramatizing in my head a sense of living in the Nazi occupation.
