Sakamoto Days, Netflix's newest anime phenomenon, has swept the streaming landscape, ranking #2 worldwide for non-English series during the week of January 13–19. With 8.6 million views in a single week, Sakamoto Days was only eclipsed by the massive Squid Game: Season 2. The anime's popularity was demonstrated by the fact that it ranked #1 in five countries, in the top 10 in 67, and even at number nine for all shows in the United States.
