Balls To The Wall: 'Game Of Thrones' Showrunners Planned That Finale Scene For Years
To quote Joel Schumacher's Batman & Robin, it was a game of "ice to meet you" in the Game of Thrones Season 7 finale. We headed to the Dragonpit for a frosty foray of favorites, then further North for an even colder reception at Winterfell and the Wall. Lurking in the shadows beyond the Wall, the Night King and his frozen forces made moves for their endgame, and we were left with one of the biggest #GameofThrones shocks to ever grace seven years of the Seven Kingdoms. While some may have clocked what happened at the Wall ahead of time, it sounds like showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss had it planned all along.

Wight House Down: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Says Favorite Characters Will Become Wights On 'Game Of Thrones'
It certainly looks like it's a nice day for a wight wedding in Season 8 of Game of Thrones — well, that is if that horned Night King has anything to do with it. Taking the scenic route from his recruitment drive in Season 5's "Hardhome," the bolstered ranks of the Army of the Dead finally made moves to conquer the realm of men in Season 7. While we have already seen the valiant Viserion come back to life as the blue-eyed servant of the Night King, fans are told to expect some more of our favorite faces to get a zombie remodeling in the show's final season.

In Direwolf Straits: 'Game Of Thrones' Easter Egg Reveals Why Sansa Won't Survive Season 8
Phew, wipe your brow, because (most of) our favorite Game of Thrones characters have made it through another season of murder, madness, death, and destruction. But come on, let's be honest, a fair few names are surely going to be etched onto that "In Memoriam" plaque by the show's end. I have already looked into the flames and prophesied the deathly dethroning of Sansa Queen of Winterfell, but heading back to the very first season of the show, there is worrying (old) evidence that this really will be the case.

Left Out In The Cold: What That White Walker Reveal Means For Humanity On 'Game Of Thrones'
It's no joke when we say that the latest season of HBO's Game of Thrones hasn't been pulling any punches. Season 7 of the icy adventure may have been cut short in its episode count, but that hasn't stopped the usual trail of death and destruction following the characters around the Seven Kingdoms. In particular, we have seen the race toward the Iron Throne get smaller as the threat to humanity gets bigger.
