James Gunn Reveals What David Bowie's Cameo in 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2' Would Have Been
The release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 introduced a number of new characters to the MCU; aside from Ego the Living Planet and Mantis, James Gunn introduced many ancillary characters to the universe. With these new characters came new actors to play them, with many of them making cameo appearances. Miley Cyrus appeared as the voice of Mainframe in one of the post-credit sequences and James Gunn's good friend, Michael Rosenbaum also appeared as Martinex, for example. But there was one other superstar who was set for a cameo: David Bowie.

SHE Was Cast As HER in Disney's Live-Action Little Mermaid Movie?
Now, I'm not one that follows all of the live Disney princess news, but with Chloe Grace Moretz being one of the best up-and-coming actresses, hearing that she is involved with the live-action remake piqued my interest.

Where Are They Now: The Cast of RENT
Musical theater translated to the big screen has not always been appreciated by either fans of musicals nor fans of movies, though with the (subjective) success of recent films such as Into the Woods (2014) and The Last Five Years (2014), I thought we could go back to 2005 to see where the cast of RENT are now. I was in high school when RENT came out and all of my theater geek friends went to see it together and sing along, and we were not disappointed. As far as movie musicals go, RENT did a great job translating this operatic-esque show into a film that movie goers would respect as well, even having most of the original cast join for the movie. Let's take a look at what the cast has been up to in the past 10 years.

'Black Panther' Star Sterling Brown Confirms Marvel Kept the Film's Details a Total Secret By Any Means Necessary
The internet has brought us many wonderful things over the years, but it has also magnified the scourge of spoilers. With social media being so popular, it can be very difficult to avoid spoilers for our favourite movies and TV shows. As a result, film studios have gotten even more creative in how they keep secrets for their upcoming releases. Marvel may very well be the most meticulous of all if the account of Sterling Brown, a supporting cast member in the highly-anticipated Black Panther, is anything to go by. A star on the very popular and huge fan-favorite show This Is Us, he will be making an appearance in Black Panther next year. While he's no stranger to keeping secrets about high-profile projects, what he has to say about working on Black Panther will leave you in awe of just how far Marvel will go to maintain absolute secrecy around a film of theirs.

How Deadpool Saved the Superhero Genre
I'm not exactly someone who can be considered a hardcore Deadpool fan. I've read some of the comics, played the video game, and just generally had an appreciation for the unique nature of the character as he existed within the Marvel world. Those who are perhaps a bit more hardcore than I when it comes to the fandom, however, are the real stars in this story, as it's because of them, and only them, that Deadpool ever made it to the big screen in the first place.

Marvel Always Wanted Donald Glover to Make the 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Miles Morales Reference
One particular Easter Egg from Spider-Man: Homecoming had fans giddy with excitement: the nod to Miles Morales, a beloved character who took over the mantle of Spider-Man in the Ultimate Comics after the death of that universe's Peter Parker.

Is Chris Hemsworth Really The Big Bad Of 'Ghostbusters'?
Say whaaaaat? Bear with us on this one! The Ghostbusters girls definitely needed some eye candy around the office, and the surprise role of Chris Hemsworth as their receptionist Kevin nicely rounded off the cast. However, could the spectacled hunk actually be the all female Ghostbusters's arch-nemesis? We NEED to talk about Kevin!

Marc Webb Reveals His Regrets About 'The Amazing Spider-Man' and What the Third Movie Would Have Held
If there's one reason we have to thank The Amazing Spider-Man films, it's that Spider-Man has now joined the MCU. Whatever you thought of The Amazing Spider-Man duology, it's because of these two films that Marvel's flagship hero is back where he belongs and is able to appear alongside the rest of the MCU heroes. Spider-Man: Homecoming was met with solid acclaim and many fans would argue it's the best Spider-Man film yet. But it all could have been so different.

Marvel Stars Defend Their Films Against DC!
This futile war is seemingly never-ending. While there are many that can enjoy both Marvel and DC, some show their favoritism more than others and this isn't limited to just the fans. Even the actors are getting involved, this time in the form of Anthony Mackie bashing DC:

'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Writers Reveal the Uncle Ben Moment We Almost Had — and Why They Cut It
Spider-Man: Homecoming gave us quintessential big-screen Spidey moments, but there was one crucial component of the web-slinger's origin story that was absent from the film. After Cliff Robertson and Martin Sheen brought Uncle Ben to life in the previous continuities, Marvel elected not to feature him in Spidey's MCU solo debut. He was alluded to, but never explicitly named in the film.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame - A 20-Year-Old, Half-Forgotten Gem
Twenty years on, and Disney is still a force to be reckoned with; it won over audiences with the recent successes of Frozen in 2013 and Big Hero 6 the year after, and legends such as The Lion King and Aladdin still bring nostalgic smiles to the faces of people aged between 20-30.
