Best Cosplayer Interviews of 2019
Greetings, Vocal readers. 2020 will be here before you know it, so before 2019 comes to an end, here’s a look back at some cosplayers I was fortunate to interview this year. I’ll have more interviews coming in the New Year, but before I go any further, I want to let everyone know that if you liked any of my articles I’ve written this year, please feel free to send me a one-off tip, which is located at the end of every article. No tip is ever too big or small. It’ll help me and other Vocal readers to write better stories. So without further ado, here are some amazing cosplayers that I’ve interviewed this year, in no particular order.

7 Animated Disney Films That Hopefully Won't Get a Live-Action Remake
We have seen a plethora of Disney classics get the live-action treatment, including Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King (well that was sort of live-action). These films made bank at the box office due to the childhood nostalgia coming to life. However, one could argue that the remakes don't deserve to get by on nostalgia alone. Most of the remakes appear to be photocopies of their animated counterparts. Some viewers love that, others are upset by the lack of originality. With all that in mind, there are some Disney animated tales that I hope do not get the live-action treatment.

14 Best English Anime Dubs of All Time
Amongst nerds who love anime, there is one subject that is even more controversial than such classic arguments as whether or not the Star Wars Christmas Special is cannon. When it comes to anime, the big debate is whether or not it’s better to watch the sub or the dub. It’s a topic so contentious at conventions that entire screening rooms can burst out in vicious brutal screaming matches as the unruly cosplay masses vie to see which continent can shout down the other side. On one side, the sub contingent believes that most anime is better heard in its original language. Voice acting is treated as a much bigger deal over in Japan where some VO performers are treated like superstar idols.

5 Underappreciated Cartoons II
I love cartoons; always have and likely always will. Before you ask, no, I'm not too old for cartoons; you can never be too old for cartoons. With that in mind, I did a list of 5 Underappreciated Cartoons about a month or so ago and it was great fun.

5 Under-Appreciated Spy Films
I was wondering what I'd do for the next Underappreciated Films entry and it occurred to me—why not do a spy films list? Only rules are that the films have to have something to do with espionage and, in the case of a series, only one entry to a series.

Vengeance, Vampires and Vibrant Celestial Beings from the Moon: 6 of the Most Beautiful Movie Scenes of the 2000s
It's staggering just how much work goes into cinematography to create a film’s look alone. Some unfortunate movies don’t really achieve much past their mesmerising visuals and sometimes it’s just enough to save them. The best film-makers however, use visuals as a rich and diverse tool to aid in the telling of their stories.
